I have been recieving these calls from Aberdeen, Wa. for the last several months. The initial call is a robo recording informing me that it's from (Alec?) and that I qualify for a $250,000 business loan. Press one for details... I've begun pressing #1 in order to ask the operator why I was being called. (sometimes just to yell at them for continuing to call) I've asked them to stop calling, and I've filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. My number (cell phone) is listed on the National no-call registry.

This number calls then hangs up and then when you try to call back the line is busy or gets disconnected the minute the line rings on the other end.

multiple hang ups when they reach voice mail system which is counter productive (1) I no longer bother calling back, if they (2) want to reach me they would leave a message re purpose of the call w/a return number.  (3) Wasting everyone's time and money - if they are truly a business loaning company they would comprehend the concept that "time is money" (4) number noted and blocked

We received 3 calls in short of an hour at the fire station, each time I politely asked the caller if they could remove us from the auto call list each time they said they would but within 10 minutes we would get another call. the last time I again asked politely if I could speak with a supervisor she told me yes she is sitting right here behind me. the individual who claimed to be the super said I did not need to ask for a super to be removed from the list "anyone" can do that. My reply was " well I have asked the last 3 times and it has not worked yet" With that she slammed the phone in my ear and within 20 minutes we received yet another call only routed through a different call center but the same individual on the line!
