Claim to be from the IRS that there was a arrest warrant issued for me I didn't believe it so I hung up

same thing just happened to my dad 15 mins ago!

Recorded voice called just now, Says I have an arrest warrant from IRS. I know I dont. Just spoke with IRS and paid them what i owe already.

Claimed the IRS was suing me and demanded info from me that they should've had if they were really the irs. Scam scam scam!

I also received a call, stating its the IRS and to call them and a arrest warrant was or will be happening, First I would think that something would come by mail not a robot call, and I have had a different number call my cell, {978-626-4028} when I looked up this number folks said they have called it back and someone from the Philippines answered so they hung up. I would think that a letter or certified letter would come and tell you to call or report somewhere, I am going to try and answer next time they call and ask them to send me something in the mail, I will not give any info/ money over the phone.

I has just happened to me too. I called him back and provided fake ID. This guy did some search and then hang up.

same thing happened to me about an hour ago,he said that I had a lawsuit and warrant out for my arrest and that the police would be coming out to arrest me in two hrs,this guy had me so scared I was crying,now I just feel like a big dummy

My daughter received a call from this number today. The male with a foreign accent told her that she had made a mistake on her filing with the IRS and that there was a warrant for her arrest. He then asked how she wanted to take care of this and that if she didn't the police would be to her door within 3 hours. She ended up giving him her address! She then said that she needed to call her dad. When I heard this I could not help but laugh, only due to the fact that it has happened to me as well. She was very scarred and I explained that it was a malicious caller trying to get money. I called the number and asked to speak to Jerry. After a brief hold, Jerry answered and I explained that I was calling on behalf of my daughter. I asked him in order to verify her information if he could give me her Adjusted Gross Income off of the year in question. He said he was not authorized to access this. That is when I lost it!!!! I told him to go back to where he came from and if he ever called my daughter again I would rip his head off and piss down his throat. haha! You all would have been so proud of me...lol  He then started to use profanity and I told him that I was going to call the IRS and FBI immediately. I just tried to call the number again to pull another false caller on him, but no one answered the phone... The IRS is bad enough, we really don't need scammers like this out there as well...

Same here .. Just received a call from (360) 322-4946 on Sept. 15, 2016 stating to be IRS will be filing a lawsuit an/or arrest warrant.  Bogus BS from a robot caller.  One, IRS will not call you. They will send a letter.  Please don't fall for this BS or answer the call.  I believe they are out to receive your personal information to still your identity and do personal harm on your credit.  Hope this note helps the next person!

Just happened to my gf. She was very upset, but when she sat down and thought about it she realized it was a scam.  [***] this guy.

I got a call from this number today 9/15/2016 also, 360-322-4946, listed as a Marysville, WA number. They left a voicemail saying they were the IRS and that I had "a non billable arrest warrant under my name so before we move forward with the lawsuit in the legal allegation contact us."  Just for fun I called back and had a 10 minute conversation with a woman who had maybe an Indian or Bengali or Pakistani accent (sorry, it sounded like that and I can't tell which). I gave no identifying information other than she may have had caller ID to see my number. I told her it is a new number and the IRS does not have it affiliated with my name. Somehow she was able to give me a case number and when I told her that their number was listed online as a scam she asked me to tell her the number! I said its your call back number, you should have it. She said As a friend can't you tell me what it is? That was one of many unprofessional phrases she used in that conversation, that a true IRS worker would never have used. Another was when she said she was surprised that I thought an IRS call would come only from DC or the state in which I live. I told her I'd never lived in or done business in WA and she had no response for that. When I asked for her IRS ID number she gave me IRM272something, I say something because she made it garbled so I couldn't hear the end. I asked for her to repeat it six times and none of those times could I hear it. I could go on but this is clearly CLEARLY a scam. Please tell your friends, relatives, parents, especially those without Internet access about this so they don't get hurt by this scam.

Called the IRS.  They would send you a very official letter if they were out to get you!  There is no way to stop this....big question is, how do they get our cell phone numbers?  Such a pain in the you-know-what!

This is the first time Ive received the "IRS needs money/theres an arrest warrant" call but Ive been getting a ton lately from "credit card companies" that I supposedly owe thousands to... only issue is that Ive never in my life owned a credit card! I just laugh in their face and tell them to shove it. I know where my money is. I know I file properly. I know I'm not a criminal. They can F off.
