Stating they are the IRS and i have a lawsuit and federal case

Says internal revenue lawsuit
and federal case pending if do not call them back

I got a call from this number stating the same thing; an internal revenue lawsuit and to call them back.

Sounds a bit strange to have IRS hunting after me.  Don't call the number back, it's a scam!

Guy with Indian accent says he Officer Thomas Crane ,really !

I received a call from this number Tuesday afternoon. Thank god something told me to look this number up and to investigate if was a scam which it is. Beware!!!

Got a call from Kevin Llyold badge # KP1550 from the IRS stating that I had a problem on my taxes from 2088-2013 of $1,874.00.Funny thing was he couldn't tell me where I made the mistake, and he got mad and hung up the phone..

Got same phone call stating same thing yesterday.. Is a scam.. Demanded I buy a prepaid debit card and stay on phone line while I drive to store to buy the prepaid debit card at Walmart...same amount $1874..

Demanded I pay $1874 ..stating they were irs..demanding I drive to Walmart and buy a prepaid debit card and stay on phone line while I drive..and give them numbers off card as soon as I buy it...

Here is to now and the future with my friend and all my real friends for life nomatter what.

Funny!!:))) Had two voicemails stating that there is a federal lawsuit with my name pending and that this is the last warning before legal action will be taken. The recording sounded very official so I called the number. Never mind that it was already 6:30 pm on a Friday but, sure enough, a male voice with a foreign accent (hispanic) answered and told me that I owed the IRS $1874 for the tax year 2014. He said his name was Officer Kevin Lloyd and his badge # was kp1550.
He also told me to listen very carefully and not interrupt him. Long story short: I told him that I was not aware of owing anything and that there had been no correspondence. He apologized and said that he would contact my local IRS office and I would get a call within 30 minutes from them. Lol! On a Friday at 7 pm? All in all it was very amusing. Nice try! Nothing but another scam!!!

I received a call today from 360-339-4799 stating that I needed to contact them about an outstanding debt that was owed to the IRS, I called the number and was greeted by " Mike Williams" and says that I owe $1874.00 for the years 2008-2013. "Mike" says  "we have tried to contacted you several times"  I have not been contacted by anyone, much less the IRS.... I have called my bank and have them changing all my information. He had my address, phone number and at least the last 4 of my S.S #... BE CAREFUL!!!

Got a call with the message that the IRS has a case pending against me, and that I need to call a said number.  Definitely a scam, as I receive non-taxable VA benefits.

Saying they are the IRS and that I owe them 1,800 from 5 years of audits that I did not reply to.  They say that they are filing an arrest warrant.

Same as the rest of us. Glad we are getting as smart as the scam artists!

Got a call from the same number.  Clearly a computer generated voice.  A scam.  The IRS doesn't call, they send letters.  They certainly would never call via computerized voice.

This. Company called saying they were IRS and that I owed them money from 2008 till 2013 the guys name was Kevin Lloyd and said he was a cop and then told me he was in accounting.

Got a call from these ppl today statingthey had a lawsuit and warrant for my arrest for a numerical mistake on my taxes from btwn 2008-2013 and they would send someone to my house tomorrow to explain what the mistake was but I had to pay $485 tomorrow or would be arrested. I gave them a fax number and told them that it was my lawyers fax number and I wanted proof that I owed money before I paid. I called the police and made a report. Freaked me out bc I am definitely uneducated when it comes to the irs. I just know I havr worked and paid taxes since I was 16 and had no idea how it could have happened and they couldn't tell me either. Thank god I didn't pay it!

Got the same phone call Officer John Harrington...Would be arrested if I did not pay $1,800.00...not paying until I see documentation...caller said "[***]" and hung up....

I spoke to a barely English-speaking "Albert Brown" who cursed at me after I told him I reported him to the FTC and not to call back.

Since I am 20 and have only filed my taxes once, I was sure I'd had no outstanding debts. Idiots.
