calling my unpublished Phone number  When I answer no one is there

Political surey group - offering a free vacation or cruise or something for a 30second survey.  Pain in the ass.

They ring about every day.

I rang them back and select option 1 to be "removed permanently from their database" but the still ring.

I'm even on the DoNotCall.gov list and they still ring....

If this is you "political survey group" then kindly stop calling, F$#! off and die.

Two days in a row received call from this number and no one is on other line.  Called number back and received message that the number is temporiarly unavailable.

Political survey promising a 2 day cruise. I got the option to press 9 to be permanently removed, we'll see what happens.

Stop calling me!!!!!

Disconnected this call after the second ring (I do this for all numbers I do not recognize).  I called the number shortly afterward and, as one of the commentors above noted, got a recorded message (in a phoney English accent)  saying the number was temporarily unavailable and I should call back later....yeah, you bet I will, my ass.

want for these political phone surveys to stop.

I keep getting "political survey calls".  After each I use call blocker so they can't get through, and it is great.  However, it seems that I continually get more of the same calls just using a different number.   That is ok, I can block as many as I want.   Highly recommend call blocker.  Not affiliated,  just pleased with the service.

Just got a call, rang twice and hung up.  I returned and it said "temporarily unavailable and to call back".  This came in on a cell phone listed on do not call registry.

Received several calls from this number.  I was unable to answer and no message was left.  Also got the message in English (British version) that the number was unavailable and please call again later.

These jerks call everyday, always from a WA or OR area code. I think they are purporting to be a political survey group just to get around the rules of the Do Not Call list. Wish I had the time to prove otherwise and take them to small claims court, They're just trying to hawk some "free" trip scam.

Called and woke me up at 9:53 this morning (I work nights, so I usually sleep from 4 AM - 11 AM). Didn't leave a message.

I've been getting calls from this area code and ac 206 for the last month or so, both home phone and cell phone. They hang up after the answering machine kicks in. Both numbers are listed on the federal DNC list.

Copy of the complaint I just submitted to the NC Attorney General:

Phone call from "Independent Survey Group" saying if I completed a 30 second political survey I would receive a free 3 day Caribbean cruise.  Took the survey then was connected to "Jim Wright" with "Caribbean Cruise Lines".  He told me about the cruise (several minutes) including the detail that it would be aboard the ship Bahama Celebration. (I checked online and that ship belongs to Celebration Cruise Line.)

He said the only thing we needed to pay was $59 per person port taxes and asked for a credit card number. I had known it was a scam all along but played along to get as much information as I could, so I hung up at that point.

Not sure if this is the cruise line trying to use this bogus "political survey" to subvert do-not-call or if (more likely) the entire thing is a scam just to get the credit card number.

Political surveys are exempt from the DNC list. However, it is illegal for automatic dialing and computer calls to cell phones. A little research on the web gave me instructions on how to stop the calls and possibly get compensated for the calls to my cell phone. Google "how to stop political calls", there is a lot of info out there!

Rejected call and they left no msg. Called number back and British accent stated the number is temporarily unavailable and to try call later. Obvious scammer.

Anwsered but no one there. Tried to call back but number not available? How do you stop this S---t!

Same as everyone else who reported this number.  I didn't answer the call because I knew it was from an obvious scammer.

This call continues to harass.

i just didnt answer it.  they didnt leave a message either.  if i dont recognize the number i dont answer.

I thought that our cell phones numbers were exempt.   It is so aggravating, even at 11 pm or later.
