They called today.  I didn't recognize the number.  I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message.

This number called me today, I answered to "dead air", followed by a computer generated "goodbye" after about 8 seconds.

I called the number back, and received the following recorded greeting: "Hello, and thank you for calling back. You have received a marketing call from a commercial entity or its representatives. If you would prefer to not receive calls from this organization in the future, press 1 to be added to this organizations do not call list."

I am registered with the "Do Not Call" registry, and assumed that it covered commercial marketing.  So, I pressed 0 (zero) hoping to get an operator that I could calmly and politely rip a new a**hole, but pressing 0 disconnected the call.

That number called my cellphone this afternoon. Same result and outcome as both posts, above.

"Company" not identified, but supposedly you can press 1 and receive no further calls.

Indian man answer. I told him to take me off their f------ list.

Got a phone call (4:33pm) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize.  
(Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?)  
They, of course, left no message.  
As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to

and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls.

This super rude guy was trying to sell me "senior assisted living".  I AM 29 YEARS OLD!  I really just thought it was funny, and i asked him if he KNEW how old I was and WHY he was calling me... he just hung up!  I am registered with do not call so I have reported them.

It was "Ashley, from Senior Home Care" I hung up. I don't have a senior family member left alive, so how they got my number is beyond me.

dead air - hung up.  also, got a call from "Call" today - that's what appeared on phone screen  - asking me to press "1" after computer voice read off first five digits of my ATM card!  did not do that either -- and contacted my bank.  Bank said they never make these kind of calls.  Perhaps these are related as both came on same day...

Received a call on October 19th at 2:48 EDT. Didn't answer, added to my blocked number list.

They called today.  I didn't recognize the number.  I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message, REALLLLLLY annoying thouh how they keep calling me.

Called cell phone. Didn't leave a msg.  Waste of a minute.

Called back and it said disconnected.  Disconnected number calling?

Keep getting a call from this number which I do not know it. They never leave a message and it calls back sometimes twice in a day.  I wish being on the " DO NOT CALL LIST" would actually work or it would be nice if my Cell Phone Carrier would allow me to block a number when it calls me.  I  am tired of paying for minutes I do not use but get billed for minutes when these people call from landlines to my cell phone.

Nov 5 2012 This number called me. I did not pick up this unrecognized number. They left no message. Glad to have this site to find out about the hooplah.  I am on the Do Not Call registry and these jokers should have been unable to bug me. I will report as per another victim's message, and thanks to them for providing the links.  Be careful out there, people. Keep reporting these clowns and maybe it will slow down and stop.
