IRS Scam.

SCAM ARTIST FALSELY CLAIMING TO BE FROM THE GOVERNMENT

"Considered as a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on 360-566-2902 I repeat 360-566-2902 thank you."

Note that the call came from (760) 733-9957 but told us to call the above number.

I received the same call using the same language but it came from 360 566 2902

I received the same call with the same automated message about 20 minutes ago. Just for the heck of it I tried to call back and it's just a busy signal.

I was told the IRS has a lien on my possessions.  I needed to make a payment immediately.   One tell me where to send the phone call determined if I was to get additional charges or legal action.  They wanted my bank information.  They would not tell me where to send the money.  I could not find this number on the IRS website.  I THINK THEY WERE TRYING TO SCAM ME.  THANK GOD I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THEIR DIALECT!!!  AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE SUPERVISOR THAT I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND EITHER!!! THANK GOD I  ONLY SPEAK AMERICAN ENGLISH

Same as everyone above. Claiming to be from the IRS and it was an automated call. Saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and it was a final notice. This was the first call I received from them. Obviously I searched the phone number and found all the responses that it was a scam.

I just received the same phone call saying IRS is filing a lawsuit and googled the phone no.  Glad to hear it's a hoax.

Stating IRS is suing me

I just received a call that IRS is suing me,  I believe the IRS would send out a letter first.

Call claiming I am being sued for taxes due.

Got this call from IRS 360-566-2902 Call back couldn't understand the man that answer phone he got so mad at me he hung on  me. I knew it was a scam!! then I read other post here after looking up the # they give me call. Don't  fall for this if  you owe IRS they will see you bill

They said they have been trying to reach me and that i am being sued by the IRS.

The same call was on my answering machine last night when I got home from work.

Told me that the their is a warrant due to back taxes.
Never got a written notice of errors on back taxes.

My father received this same call today. They told him he owes the IRS. There was a person that did not speak fluent English. They called him three times today and he talked with them each time.

Same as the above.  Left a voicemail, called it back and the number was busy.  It's a scam.

Received the same call. Note to everyone. If the. It's is going to file suit they WILL NOT contact you by phone!!

Same as above- recorded message that told me to call this number. Googled it and found all these other calls. SCAM!!:)
