Phone scam: rep said from financial crime enforcement for us cash advance

Got a call from someone calling themselves officer something and telling me he would see me in court cause i would not give any info 9/21/11

I got the same thing. not only did I notify the govt about this like the FTC, but I notified the State Attorney General and they said they are well aware of this. So I called my phone company and put a block on their number. DO NOT GIVE THE MONEY!!!!!

This foreign guy calls me threatening me with me being arrested two or three times a day. He calls my cell phone and I don't know how to block him. He is driving me crazy!!!!

Keep getting a call from 360-975-3696 saying he's an attorney, says I owe an unpaid loan and credit card.  Don't have either.  He has a foreign accent.  This is a scam.  I wouldn't give him any information.  Keeps telling me that papers are in the mail.  Haven't received anything from them, but they keep calling.  SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Do not send money he had me crying on the phone! As soon as he said send me a money gram I said umm I work at the bank I will not send you anything They have even been calling my work I filled a police report and now have to report it to the FBI

This man is calling himself Anthony Davis attorney and that I owe money from a cash advance which I know I did not get he is calling my cell, my job over and over again and we have filed a police report, I hope that this works because he is really getting on people's nerve and he also saids that he is from Tampa Florida I don't know if this true but somethings needs to be done about this man, and how does he get the information on us in the first place.

All right. We have tried everything to stop these yahoos from calling into our business and tying up our lines. Last night I decided to go on the offense and I need everyones help. Go and get a VOIP phone number one that can block incoming calls and call this number as often as possible to tie up their line and make them listen to all the bogus voice mail. I figure at some point we will outnumber them 1000's to one. As we get new nubers we can post them and call those. Most of the time I just ramble about having to pay them money. I talk about having my credit card out and wanting to send money, but I can not get ahold of them. I ask them to call me back asap so I can pay them. I bumble around for as long as possible and them tell them obviously they have my number since they have called me a 1000 times. Sometimes during the day someone will answer and I talk with them as long as possible. I figure if they are talking with me they are not scammeing or harassing someone else...

It works great. I keep calling them and giving them different names. They have finally associatied my VOIP number with the name BOB, but they can not seem to block the calls. So if you can set up a VOIP number where calls in the US are free and start calling whenever you get a chance. It is much more fun to call them and make up names and stories and waste thier time. Maybe this will keep them from scamming other people out of thier hard earned money. Tell them Bob sent you. Or ask for Paul and say you are Bob...

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS IDIOT!!! HE KEPT SAYING HE NEEDED MY ATTORNEY'S INFORMATION. AFTER I HUNG UP ON HIM A FEW TIMES, HE CALLED BACK AND I SAID ARE THAT STUPID?!?!?!? HE SAID NO I AM STALKING YOU RIGHT NOW! HE IS SUCH A FREAKING DUMMY!!! I WISH IT COULD BE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS!!!!!

This guy called us claiming to be a Michael Black. Has a very think foreign accent. Says we are being sued and wants to talk to my wife.
This is a total scam.  Do not return his calls.

got a call from this guy he told me they will put sumthing against my ssn an they said see youu in court an said the fine tht was due was $2,560

the person with aa forign accent has been calling me for thee days the person has been tring to send me to a neither extention, will not tell me why they want me to speek to a tony micheal, NOW THERE ARE THRETING MY JOB AND PROMISING TO GET ME FIRED WITH OUT ANY PROBLEMS.I DO NOT KNOW THIS TONY MICHEIAL.

I got a phone call today from attorney anthony davis saying that I owed a secure loan. I asked him why I haven't heard anything bout this until now and he said that all letters that were sent to my address were returned to sender. DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LIES! THIS IS A SCAM! I called my local police department bc he had all of my personal information and the police officer I talked to is calling the number that he called me from! No matter what he says don't believe him and call ur local police department!

Caller sounds Indian or Pakastani. Says his name is Anthony Davis from Davis Law Firm, 202 Pennsylvania Ave, Vancouver, WA 98660. Says money is owed to United Cash Advance (lender does NOT show on credit report, lender has no records of an account). He threatened to have law enforcement agencies come and arrest. The number he called from (and answers) is (360) 975-3696. The scary thing is, he had my social security number.
