"Bridget" calling with a new "secondary" number after I blocked their "primary" number that called several days ago. I normally don't block Carmen, Heather and Brigit because it's easier to recognize the same number calling again and again, but this time I was curious to see what other numbers they use so I can see what other callers report on this web page.

The recording of this "lower your rate" call is exactly the same past calls but from a new number to avoid call blocking although I didn't block either number they used yesterday. The recorded message is their usual patter (see below) and I love "Brigit's" accent when she says "thank you" (it comes out closer to 'think yew').

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?

[female voice] "Hello, this is Bridget with Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 1%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press the number 3 to discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

(7 second pause, [female voice] "Goodbye.")

This number border me. They may call from VOIP. The government should has a law to face with this scam.

They constantly call using many different numbers and area codes.  We just don't answer.

Caller id said Survey.  It wasn't. It was Carmen from Cardholder Services. She was calling about my credit cards. Since I don't use them she must be mistaken.
This company is probably one of the big lawbreakers in the country since they have called me hundreds of times over the years. I'm sure I get several calls a week from various phone numbers and I have been on the do not call list from the beginning.

This is a serial harasser phone caller.
Is this a crime?

I received a call from "Carmen at Cardholder Services."

I hung up.

My phone number is not listed, it is unlisted and I am on the U.S. government NO CALL registry list.

judt asked for all my info...I did give them some but when they asked for my discover # I got wise and gave them a fake one..I hope I don't get taken.

They claimed to help with my interest rate on a credit card. I asked who they were and who they were calling. They would not answer. Said I wasn't interested. Before he hung up on me, he said he was going to rape my children.
