Received a call from this phone number at 5pm today, showing a caller i.d. of "Texas."  I did not answer the call because the number was unfamiliar to me.  No message was left.

Called 3:25 pm CDT today.  Said this was the 3rd notification that we owed $3000.  When questioned, they hung up.  Call comes out of Beesville, TX.  Call back showed number not in use.  Guessing probably a throw away phone.  Police said they had no other calls so far.

Says they are cardmember services and have tried numerous times to contact me and this is my final attempt, then proceeds to say it concerns balance transfers no less then 3,000 at 6%. Press 1 to continue.  I continued, the girl who answered I told her that I was not interested and they should not be calling since I am on the do not call list. She promptly hung up. When I call the number back it says it's not valid

I did answer and it was a credit card company calling to say that this is the final notification to lower my interest rate for my credit card.  They did not identify the cr. card compny.

I had the same call today and same message. Just be careful not to give out any inforamtion. Ithink they are trying to get your card number and other personal information. I recieved a call from a Jamaican area code saying that my card has charges and they need to verify to make sure I made those charges. Dont's ever give out information, find out what bank they say they are calling from and contact you bank.

9:10 PM. after recieving a call from TEXAS at this number, I was connected to a voice mailbox at a FL number  :  813-361-5973- Obviously they are using call forwarding to show only the TX number rather than the FL number. They told me it was a SPRINT PCS (?)mailbox - I will follow up with SPRINT via email.

Received a call from this number. no one answered. Traced it to a sprint cell phone out of Bee County Texas

They claim to be a credit card consolidation company want to negotiate on your behalf to lower your interest on any high apr cards. It's stated you must have $3000 in debt  for them to help you (any amount less is not worth their effort to rip you off) and one CC in good standing so they can charge that account for their services. Any one is a dope who would fall for this, they LIE right off the bat by saying this is your 3rd and final notification.
It is not Sprint, nor a debt collector nor do they work for ANY cc company. Put their number on block... chances are they won't bother you again anyway.
The Do Not Call List is a sham.

i got a call this morning saying second tome calling bout a credit card and interest rate and was very rude and i hung up on him and this is the third time but the first time i talked to him

card services is a  department in CITI bank...i explained that to them and implied they were misrepresenting thier identity...and then asked....who are you guys...they promptly hung up...

this is a fraud...they alter thier caller ID...and fraudulently infer that they are associated with your banks visa/MC entity to open the door....its criminal...interstate fraud by deception...they get the attention of a lot of people...by imitating that they are with card services...

got a call just a few minutes ago, this is fraud.  If a credit card company is legit, they will be above board of who they are and what they offer, anyone who responds to this type of call should look in the mirror and go "Heres My Sign"

I got a call at 11:45 AM from 1-361-597-3016. I don't pick up the phone on numbers or names I don'f reconize. I brought it up on the computer and said to report if I had a call form this number. All I know it was from Beesville, TX. I see they did not leave a message.

Got a call at 11:20AM, Central from this number. CID showed Beeville, TX. Didn't pick up. Sounds like it was a fraudulent call. Glad I didn't pick up.

Same as the other posts. As soon as I stated that I was on the "Do not call list" they hung up. Return call to that number was not in service. I will file a complaint with the FCC and recommend that everyone else does the same

ALL calls from this number are a FRAUD.

They are not a credit card company BUT they are scammers wanting to get your credit card info so they can charge as much as possible on your card. They either say they can reduce your interest rates or that you owe money that you don't. IF this was a legitimate call from a credit card company it would be a person calling and NOT a recorded message.

This is exactly the same scam when they used the phone number 302-232-3130 (a Delaware number) and they are most likely just moving on to a new number since the old one may have been shut down on them after so many complaints were filed.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

File a formal complaint if you want with the FCC as shown above and/or your state attorney general office.
Telling them you are on the do not call list means nothing since they are committing a crime in the first place. They are simply calling ALL phone numbers and waiting for suckers to respond and fall for the scam and give them their credit card info.

Hang up calls at all hours and days.

I get these calls DAILY from all different numbers, all different area codes/areas of the US.  Suspect these are NOT "cells" or landlines but calls coming from OUT OF THE COUNTRY by third world SCUM HOLES like India and Pakistan and Africa.  Started over FOUR YEARS ago and has INCREASED in intensity and frequency.

These are people who are just trying to STEAL FROM AMERICANS.  Plain and simple.  CRIMINAL SCUMBAGS.

I no longer answer and, if I'm around to 'get' the call usually just press 'talk' and then immediately 'Off" to cut off the call.  This will hopefully confuse their robodialer computer and, evenutally, i hope, stop these calls.

No sense arguing with these people; they are EVIL and have NO INTENT on following any of our LAWS since they probably aren't even IN this country, despite the mostly likely SPOOFED (FAKE, made to look like another)  phone numbers they are calling from.  Our government probably can't do much about it other than THREATEN to shut off FOREIGN AID to the countries that allow this to happen.

Time to make the PHONE COMPANIES HERE responsible for detecting the SPOOFED numbers and BLOCKING them - without extra charges on us.
