asked about my medicare identity

I think Medicare sells our phone numbers. So many calls since I went on Medicare. Sheese.

they keep calling, but no one replies

One dude called me, the number they keep calling me is area code (385)-218-4386,  It would be great if yall can list your numbers and tell your friends to collect their numbers and post them publically so we can expose them faster, if they come through on caller I.D. for your phones , my friends posted a pic of their stuff on FaceBook and to call the number 888-382-1222 individualy cause this works on Cell phones only and to the person of that cell phone, they claim the company is SNOPES  is pulling a fast one or ,
that its a gag, but you get the BILL....This rumor has been on the net since September 2004.
Send me a bill MOFO's, it will make good firewood!

To the telemarketers i say:  
YOu calling me mofo's don't even think about doin anything wrong , and if you got any balls to come and collect anything you'll facing a barrell of my gun pointed in your face for TRESSPASSING on my property!
If you make it through my Dogs, which are trained to do what it takes, did i mention the electric fence?, LMFAO!!

I get calls from these idiots every day       I don't answer them     they never leave a message   I wish I had their home phone numbers     so I can return their calls   at all hours     of the night        how cool would that be?

Just try to call the phone number back I try EVERY PHONE NUMBER that come up on my caller ID and if they answer I tell them what I am going to do to them and their family if I track them down.......................YES I tell them I will make 911 look like a Holiday Picnic !

This phone number is not a legit working phone number they have a (spoofing) program in their computer systems! I called it back!

Got a call from this number, answered , and it was recording saying my account was locked and to press 1 for security team. Looked up the number here and nothing else says what I experienced. I dont know what account they are talking about so why should I give a [***]

Yes, they said my account was locked as well and to press 1 to activate it again. Asked me to log in a 16 digit number..

Same, I think it's likely the same scammers as before, now with a new scheme.

I didn't quite catch who they claimed to be, it started talking immediately as I answered, saying "this is a call from..." and I think they voice said "Meds" but I'm not certain.  Could have said "Meg", as if to indicate the probably fake name of someone available to handle my lock out situation...

It's a fake number, they use spoofing not just to make it impossible for you to call them back and harass them back, but also to avoid long distance charges while calling from ... wherever they are.  In addition, the voice prompt at the beginning is intended to SCREEN OUT FOLKS THAT WILL JUST HANG UP so that the "Live agent" looking to get your money only has to deal with folk that actually PRESS 1.

My advice:  WASTE THEIR TIME so they're deterred from this ridiculous practice of preying on the weak.  Press 1 every time.  Wait for the agent.  Pretend to be interested.  Get as much info out of them as they will give while still appearing to be innocently falling for their bait of your locked account.  Post that info everywhere you can, so that international law enforcement agents can catch the criminals.

The guy I got hung up on me when I told him the call was being recorded... always reveals a thief.
