i got the same thing only she said it was under rachael.livingston86@gmail.com

somehow it knew my name "(name)... I moved so i created a facebook to keep in touch w/everyone.. add me its under my email rachael.livingston86@gmail.com

I got the same text but the name was mandi.carter2009@gmail.com.

My boyfriend recieved the message as well, "Name...I moved, so I creaded a facebook to keep in touch w/ everyone.. add me its under my email rachael.livingston86@gmail.com Honestly I have  theory that the phone companies sent these out to make everyone send text messages back to this fake person so that the companies can get profit. It's evil but could happen.

I got the same text and didnt know who the person was but they had my cell number.

I researched the number further and found out it is located in Florida. It is a Cellco Partnership doing Business as Verizon Wireless so I was right. It is sending these text messages out to get Verizon money. [***] this [***]! Don't text back.
Cannot report because:

there is nothing to report, because there is nothing illegal about a cellco partnership. the term "cellco partnership dba Verizon Wireless" is short for Cellular phone Company Partnership doing business as Verizon Wireless.

in some cases the local exchanges are shared between more than one phone/cellphone company, hence the partnership. in other cases it may not have been an original Verizon number, but they now own the number due a recent aqquisition (like Altel Wireless for example) where they are considered to be in a partnership until the aqquisition is complete.

either way, there is nothing illegal about the partnership itself. and since you gave no other information about your issue there isn't much else anybody can do for you. if you're receiving harassing phone calls from a number registered to verizon wireless then you can try calling verizon to file a complaint, or call your phone carrier and have the number blocked. if it's a telemarketer calling you then you can file a complaint with the FTC.

I got that message to Name.....I moved yada yada.....that 386 # is in volusia county FL!! I have no idea how they got my number my phone is a NY area code. Yea its creapy! But some1 knows what they are doing. Who ever sees this "IF YOU DONT KNOW WHO DA %&^* IT IS DONT ADD THEM AS A FRIEND THEY CAN ACCESS ALL KIND OF INFO ABOUT YOU!!! If you dont believe me.....google yourself I bet you  will find something on yourself.....now thats creapy!!! & for all of you that don't know Volusia County FL, it is Daytona Beach area!

you must visit - www.ecig2010.com is not a message or text that I want at 7 am.  Unsolicited bull crap
