A man with a foriegn accent told my wife he had "received our loan application", that we never sent, and was ready to process our loan.  When she said we hadn't applied for any loans he started probing for other types of personal information.  This is an obvious identity theft attempt.  The number is untraceable through any reverse lookups as would be expected from a criminal enterprise.

go a call from this number 3918415142, he had a foriegn accent, ask for my husband and used his full name.  i told him i was john, and he said are you sure this is john.  i said yes, what do you want...he kept repeating he wanted to talk to my husband...i kept for three times saying what do you want....he got mad and said F....Y...and hung up...this message came in about 10 minutes ago...sounded like a man from India....i called this number back and it had been disconnected or no longer in service.....It was a Verizon number....

keeps calling says about an auto loan, ?, looking for jamie, uses profanity, "foreign" accent, indian [like india] I think, so some variant of hindi. Mentioned Dunkirk NY? strange, been there many times years ago.  My number is everywhere so it is impossible to know how they got it.

I have received two calls from these people and went to the National Do Not Call Registry website, located at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and filed a complaint.  You can file a complaint if your phone number has been on the registry for 31 days.  I'm hoping they can stop these people from harassing and possibly taking advantage of an innocent, naive person.
