I answered and it wad a recorded voice telling me this was an important call and asked me to wait while I was connected. I hung up.

They left a message saying it was Citizens Bank calling about a loan payment that has not been made.  It has been made.

I've received several calls today form this number.  Whoever it is calling never leaves a message, so when I decided to answer an automated recording said "hold on please" then I heard several clicks and the call ended.  This call was made to my cell phone. I use the call control app so i reported the call and completely blocked the number.

What the ????. This is a collection agency hired by Citizens Bank to intimidate people who are late payers.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number and no message is left and when I answered it, I was disconnected.

I called the number back. It is Citizens and Charter Bank. The recording says that it could possibly regard many different banking issues (ex. Loans, overdraft protection, etc). The recording says it will call you back at another time.

Why are they calling me?

received a call on February 17th. I answered and no one was at the other end. They hung up the phone.

I got news for you folks. It is from the finaly collection department of RBS Citizens Bank (Citizens Auto Finance) I sent 3 months worth of back payments on Feb 1 to get caught up through March 17th payment. After speaking several times with their first level late payment department, and finally verifying on Feb. 13th that the payment was in the system and would post the next day. Then I got a call from this number and the [***] where threating reposession. Don't EVER threaten me with reposession when I've been paying on this vehicle for over 5 years and it will be paid off before the end of 2012. I kept telling her I sent a money order for $782 via priority mail on Feb.1. She showed a call on Feb. 8th with the first level deptarment stating they hadn't received my payment yet, but on the follow Monday, Feb. 13, is when they showed it in the system. These [***] told me they had no record of the Feb 13th call, only the one on the 8th when the payment wasn't showing up yet. I got angry and lost my temper ,and went off on the manager after she, as well as the rep that called me refused to listen to a word I was saying. All they could see was 67 days overdue. I thought over night and thought maybe i wrote the wrong account number on the paperwork I sent in with the payment. Upon verification I found I had put the account number for an old account where my wifes car was totaled. So, they added to that account. Luckily the peron I spoke to was a good person and he was able to get the payment transfered back to the correct account. He told me  the [***] I spoke to the night before had sent my account in for collections. I can't wait till I get my truck paid off and I'll NEVER do business with Citizen again.

I get calls from them when I am a day late paying my car,  right now I am 10 days late after the due date and they call me every day

I have no dealings with Citizen's or Charter banks whatsoever, and never have.
Just these robodialled dropped calls to my cell.
Reported to FCC, as usual, for all the good it does.

Until people start going through call centers with high capacity weapons, it's all we can do.

Probably just another pfishing scam.

I don't have any loans but I do bank with Citizens so it could possibly be just an alert on your account.

who called me?

i got two messages asking to call them back immediately. Though the messages never said what it was regarding and they seemed to pick up in the middle of an audio recording, as in the message started to play before my answering machine had picked up. This made it even more difficult to understand why they would be calling me.

I don't have an account with citizens, I never have, I don't have a car loan or any other payment owed to them that their collection agency might be coming after me for.

When I called this number back I spoke with a gentlemen that took down my name, phone number, and social security number. I've been thinking I should not have given him my social. He said it was in regards to "looking me up in the system" Even though I had just told him I did not have an account with Citizens.

Very strange that they would have gotten my phone number. I will be calling an actual Citizens bank branch tomorrow to verify who these people are, as well as calling the number back to see exactly why they were calling me and more importantly HOW they got my phone number. The gentlemen on the phone was quite soft spoken and hung up very quickly after muttering something of an apology.

I see everyone posting about citizens bank...I received a call from this number today no message...I have no accounts with citizens so makes me wonder why they would be calling me at all.

I get calls all the time. The account has been closed ffor several months.

Our father just recently got a call from this number claiming to be Verizon.

I been getting calls spoke to the person and told me   i was  3 1/2 months  behind went to legal. this is   the first call I recieved.
Why  not  call me  with  1 month  behind?
