This number called about lowering mortgage rates and I don't even have a mortgage. I'm supposedly on the Do Not Call List too.

Robo call offering mortgage payment reductions

This company called about lowering mortgage rates.  I hung up quickly so it didn't waste my minutes.  I am on the DNC list.

Yet another automatic call offering mortgage payment reductions.  I pressed "2" to be taken off their list  (whoever THEY are) and blocked the number as well.  I'm on the DNC list but obviously these people don't give a hoot.

Rang three times, didn't leave a message.

Called my cell. I was on another call, so I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  After reading this site, I've blocked the number. We don't have a mortgage, so we don't need our rates lowered. Guess I better update my number on the DNC list again.

Just got a call on my cell...no message left.

Apparently it matters little, if at all, whether one has proactively taken the time and steps necessary to get on the Do Not Call list because these fly-by-night enterprises ignore the list and call anyway. We need tighter laws here because they are calling morning, noon and night with a recording (no less) offering to lower existing mortgage rates.

I am also on the Do Not Call list.  Called my cell, I didn't answer, they left no message.

If you are on the do not call list, like I am, file a complaint against these kind of calls. If everyone does then they will have to do something about it in my opinion. the DNC list should not have to be renewed every year, as per their website btw
