"checking the lines". Tried to call back and check their lines but their lines are out of service and unreachable. FUN.

This number continues to call to verify company name and says they're just checking the line.  I have been unable to get their company name and you cannot make any return calls with their number.

I got 3 calls from this same number - 401-903-3050 and they just hang up.  called them back and the number is "unavailable" and the voice mail box is full.  Anyone got any idea's who this is

Just got a call from this number. Man asked me to verify our company name and then said "just checking the lines, thank you" then he hung up. Grrrrrr.....

called me asked  if he called mr and mrs windshield i said yes he said thank you and hung up

Keep getting a call from 401-903-3050. 8 calls and they keep saying their checking the line and or ask our company name. Please report this to http://www.rnktel.com, as they are the interchange for this phone number. The people at RNK Telecom were very helpful getting this issue taken care of.

They also mentioned calling your phone provider block the phone number and also call your state fraud department.

I receive several calls a day from this number 401-903-3050.  They hang up everytime I answer the phone.  I tried calling it several times - always get a busy signal.....  I am sure it is telemarketer..... very annoying in the office to get several calls a day and no one on the other end.

haaahaha.  so i got the old "just checking the line, ma'am" from these people, and i refused to hang up until i got a dial tone. i kept taunting them, and they taunted right back. "you want me to hang up?" "yes" "that's what we're trying to do, ma'am. we're just checking the line."  "no, you're trying something else. what are you trying to do?"  "just checking the line ma'am"

all of which was intermittent with a strange "beep beep", but never them hanging up.

this went on for about 3 minutes, before i finally got a dial tone.

they've called back once so far, with silence on their end.  i just keep waiting for the dial tone before i hang up.

They call there is no one there then after 10 calls they ask is this Mr A's and hangup. I think maybe when you pay to have your number called for leads and they say that they guarantee 10 leads a month maybe it's tied to them?

I have a motorcycle for sale and I constantly get texts from these numbers telling me to set up a PayPal account and they will transfer the money into it but only after $990 is put up out of my own pocket to cover shipping on the bike that I am selling.

This number has been dialing me at random several times a day for the last few days.  I never pick up and they never leave a message.  Interesting that they are 'trying to verify/check" the line - my guess is that they are trying to track people - but why I don't know

Why do they need to "check the line"?  We are a verifiable business all over the US & Canada........

Got a call from this number. They called 7 times in about 5 mins. They asked if we were **** (A Business name) And I  said yes,  I couldn't understand him very well. When  I asked to speak to someone I could understand they just started dialing numbers.
