- pmorrishtxI got a voicemail from this number a few minutes ago with a recording saying they were calling about my wireless account ending in phone number 0565. They didn't identify themselves or company as Sprint usually does and those are not the last 4 digits of any cellphone I've ever owned.

- JohnA message left on my phone "from Sprint" saying there was an urgent need to speak to me about a financial issue. the number they left was 402-220-1561.
I called the number and an automated system asked my zipcode, then said I have a past due balance of $43 some odd dollars. I called the number on my Sprint bill and they said it wasn't them, they will always leave a toll free 800 number. They also confirmed my balance was not past due, and the new bills have not gone out yet, so at the moment I owe nothing.- Caller: Sprint

- FrustratedI called Sprint Customer Service at 1-800-877-4646 and followed the following prompts: Waited to confirm I was an English speaker. Pressed 2 (for wireless support), pressed 1 (to confirm the number I was calling about was my cell phone number), pressed 6 (to speak to a representative) then pressed 0 (out of frustration), and 0 (again out of frustration)
Within 30 seconds I was connected to a customer service representative who asked me for my name. I told her my name and said I was interested in cofirming whether a number that called me was a legitimate phone number and she asked for the phone number on my account. I asked if she meant my number or the number I was calling about and she said the number I was calling about. I gave her 402-220-1561 and she said she couldn't find that number on my account. I then realized she wanted my number and so I gave her my cell phone number and then repeated that I wanted to confirm the legitimacy of a phone number that called me. She ignored my request and asked for my pin number. I gave her my pin number and she mistakenly heard 7 digits when I said 6 digits. The phone graciously lost its signal and then I came here to vent. - CessnaDriverIt's a scam, but they have some information.
Call Sprint directly or use the website. Do NOT call the 402 number.- Caller: Unknown
