I am receiving phone calls from this number in reference to a credit card account for someone with my last name but not a first name of anyone I know.  I have never had an account with Chase Bank and do not known this person.  Calls are annoying and ther is no way to speak to anyone, it is all automated.

these people are connected with CHASE Manhattan Bank and are trying to collect on a delinquent credit card account... they will call up to 8 times in a 24-hr. period... if you have caller ID, just don't answer the phone call instead of aggravating yourself talking with them!

I have been getting many calls from this number, 10 in the past 4 days, I have never answered and they don't leave a message, it's very annoying.

I've gotten three phone calls from this number just this morning and it's EXTREMELY annoying. The one at about 8 am did not leave me very happy. I just haven't answered the phone, but I'm going to the next time they call and, put simply, I'm not going to be very nice, whether it's just an automated machine or not. My caller I.D. just says "Nebraska" on it any time they call...
If the calls continue I'm reporting it to someone, I just can't *stand* them anymore.

One of my friends has the following message when anyone calls and she is not home, OR whenever these annoying Chase people and telemarketers call - which is every hour on the hour.....Here is her messsage........

"Hello, Due to the high call volume from telemarketers and increased callers who don't leave messages, No one is available to take your call. Kindly leave YOUR phone number, Your CELL phone number and the MOST inconvenient time of YOUR day to call you back and I will gladly call and have an automated message just for you.  Folllow ALL of the prompts ......and finally, don't forget to wait for the beep".

I have received MANY calls from this number, I have even received calls on my cell phone, and they leave a message and that burns up my minutes... That I dont have to burn. and also they have called my home phone. I wish they would go away.

This number had awaken us at a little after 6 am to disturbing us at work quite a number of times. It does have an answering machine id saying chase bank Omaha, NE, as many people and reverse phone id have indicated in  many emails listed on chats about this phone number and its indiscriminant calling even if you are not the person you get victimized without recourse or the op. to clear your number with them. This is very poor advertising for chase bank if indeed it is them. They ask for a particular person each time, who doesn't have this number and doesn't live here (never has). If anything can be done to improve their services and give people op to not receive call from them it would be great. i also get calls from a service that is id as "unavailable" that has called me several days in a row. Enough folks!

Unbelievable! This sounds widespread - I too received several calls.
Soon as I can find out how to block this number, I will.

Also Beware! my wife got an email stating that there were 3 invalid attempts to log in to her account and they need to verify this - The kicker is - she doesn't have a Chase account!
The links lead her to a log in, thereby giving these scammers the info they want.
Tell your friends and relative about new scam, and if you do have a Chase account, call the company to report this . . .

I too am getting repeat calls from this number.  I am glad lists like this exist. I just entered this number as a contact into my phone with the name DO NOT ANSWER so I don't bother with it

I received numerous calls from this number on Nov. 3rd.  I didn't answer them.  However, the following day, I received 7 calls from 302-220-4351.  I did answer and told them that the individual they were looking wasn't at the number they were dialing.  Each time they said they would remove the number, but never did.  I spoke with Chase today, and they said that no one had called regarding any of our accounts.

Regarding the above comment, I received the 7 calls from 302-282-8004.

I think they are chase. They are crazy, will call untill you drop. You know what I've done. I have a blackberry, in the setting menue I forward all the phone calls to a number whic don't exist, and when I push the ignor button, it anounces that the # doesn't exit and they think it is a disconnected #. If they start calling you good luck they will not let go.

this is chase collecting on a credit card. i accidently missed a payment last month. when i got the new statement and saw the late charge, i realized i had forgotten to make the payment. i made the payment online 3 days ago and they are still calling. they called 3 times on sunday which should be against the law. the statement due date says Dec 15. so even if i didn't make the late payment, they shouldn't be calling if i have a due date. the calls are very annoying but i just don't answer. if they don't stop calling, i'm going to find someone at chase to complain to. :)

actually bill collectors do not leave messages as a technique to collect on debts; There is certain guidelines a collecter must abide by.  This varies though depending if the collector is a 3rd party or first party collection agency. A first party collections agency is the party you financed your vehicle through home or even have a credit card with. A 3rd party is someone that collects on your bad debt after your account charges off when the bank sells your debt to someone else who then takes control of your account.  Once your account charges off and is sold to this 3rd party expect to get some serious threats and even up to going through litigation or even arbitration by not paying back your debt. Collectors do have boundries check the FDCPA (Fair Debt collection practice acts) this is used to prevent harassment when your account falls past due.  If the company is a first party collections agency expect calls all the time as for first party collection agencies have really no boundries when collecting a debt.  This evidence is solid because i am a collector not from this company nor will i reveal who i'm through but i have been in this business and with how bad the economy is doing this is probably the best and most job secured profession with how bad the economy is.

i've been getting calls from this number, and another number for the last few days.  i do not owe chase any money, and have never had one of their credit cards.  it is clearly a scam.

I receive a call from this phone and no message. I opt not to answer.

402-220-4351 as mentioned above is Chase's Bill collection, they call when have not paid your account as promised.  It is not a scam or a solicitation.  I am behind on my card by 15 days and the calls will continue until the debt is satisfied or they are given a new number to call.  Yes, sometimes their customers do not update their phone records, but they are operating a business and we deadbeats (not on purpose for most of us) need to understand they are only doing their job.  Yes they are annoying, but than again, we didn't complain with all the offers we took.  Have a nice day
Oh, and Chase purchased Bank One among other banks so you may not even know you have a Chase card.

My question is why the hell are you calling my home?
