I believe this call came from a potential "bottom feeder" debt collector.  I tried looking up the number and it's unpublished.  Anyone who asks for me by my previous married name (it's been almost 25 years) is probably not on the "up and up" additionally it is a name I have not gone by for over 15 years. Additionally, imho, a caller from a legitimate business should identify themselves right from the start (i.e.  "hello, this is Jane, from XYZ, is Linda Jones available?") When I make calls from my place of employment I immediately identify myself then ask for the person I am trying to reach.  Beware.  If a business is using unpublished phone numbers they have something to hide. . . .
