I received a call from this number, and as I was on the other line they hung up.

they quoted an address asked if it was our business address when I said no they hung up.

They called several times times. This last time they asked to confirm my business address. I asked who was calling, they said Chamber of Commerce. I advised I would need to give them a different number, they hung up.

Have called a couple of times, no one there. 3rd time answered, they asked to confirm business address. I did, then wanted to know who owned the company. I asked who they were. He said American Chamber of Commerce. They were updating their files. Told him I would not give him any more information. He was calling from Omaha, Nebraska.

Received a call from 402-403-0068 claiming to be 'American Chamber of Commerce' wanting to verify the company name, address and owner. Kind of a rude jerk and apparently doesn't know there isn't an 'American Chamber of Commerce'.   Did a reverse lookup through Hodges and this is who is registered at that number:
Gregor Spransy N 129th Avenue Cir Omaha Nebraska 402-403-0068, a Google search shows he moves around a lot, probably keeping one step ahead of someone - the law maybe?

Just received a call from this number - a female who couldn't properly pronounce our company name or street. Stated she wanted to confirm our business address for the "American Chamber of Commerce". When I challenged her on what a chamber of commerce actually is, she hung up. I tried calling the Omaha NE number back and received only a recording.

Received a call from 402-403-0068. Terse female asked for business address and owner name. I asked who they were and they stated it was chamber of commerce updating business information.  Called number back and got voice mail stating person unavailable.

Same story, she message. I have added them to my phone's reject list.

Asked for my business name & address I gave them it & they hung up.

They called me and after i said that i would look it up they hung up. Identified them self as chamber of congress and was updating my address

They called to update our information...and continued to try and get information from me without telling me who they were. They said they are from the American Chamber of Commerce.

Likewise, even though no introduction, since they had my address, and stated Chamber of Commerce starts to sound like a legitimate outfit, but if so they wouldn't start with details about manager name number of employees, etc.

This number called and a rude woman said she was the chamber updating records. Asked about the owners name, how many people work here, our line of business. When I tried to call it back it said the person was unavailable.

Why you call for

I received a call yesterday from some guy who didn't state who he was or who he was with before he started to ask me to confirm my business name and address. Then he wanted to know who the business owner is, names of managers, etc - I didn't give him any of this information and when I asked who he was he stated he was with the chamber of commerce updating business information.  I got leery because the call was not local so I told him I was busy and told him to call back another time.
