Called 3 times in the last 6 hours. I don't answer, never leaves a message. REMEMBER, IF IT'S IMPORTANT ENOUGH THEY WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE.

The girl that called indicated that she was calling to update our directory for the Chamber of Commerce.  I asked which one, she said the "American Chamber of Commerce".  I indicated that I had never heard of this and she quickly hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence.

Tthis lady called many times without leaving a message. Finally, I decided to pick up the phone. She asked me questions regarding the business and people that work here. She was so fast that when I asked her who she was, she responded: from the Chamber of Commerce but as I didnt give her the requested information, she hung up.  

I received a similar call to that of the business owner above (3.14.14), with the same dialog...also, being hung up on after asking who was calling and why they were calling from Omaha.   My caller ID showed an Omaha number.

I also received a call from a woman. She stated the same thing about how many employees I have, verifying my business address, and the owner of business. After her and I got through our conversation, I *69 the number, which was (402) 509-5055. So I went on gooogle.com and did a reverse phone number look up and this is what came up. http://www.whitepages.com/phone/1-402-509-5055 hopes this helps.

On 3/20/14 I received a call from 402-509-5055 mispronounced my first name but pronounced my last name ok - not many folks do that.  Asked questions:address, etc. and when I asked who wants to know was told she was updating Chamber of Commerce info and hung up.

I just received the same call. I didn't think to much of it until she hung up on me after I confirmed my business address. She also stated she was with the chamber of commerce. When you try and call the number back you can't get anyone.

She did not introduce herself which is the first hint. Then told me she was verfying data for the Cape Coral Chamber. Number was not a local area code.

Called from this number, started right off trying to get me to verify my address and manager name. Identified herself form the American Chamber of Congress.

Be very careful on this.  I was scammed/hacked if you will by someone calling my number several times in a row, never leaving a message but managed to make my telephone automatically go to "call forwarding".  That allowed them to answer my own telephone number when the bank calls to verify a large withdrawal from my bank account.  Fortunately they could not answer all of the security questions correctly.   After this hack of your number happens any new calls coming to your phone will only ring once - as it is now being forwarded to the bad guys telephone.

Lady called and asked the same questions. She wanted to verify address, owner's name and number of employees.  She did not identify herself, but when I asked her where she was calling from, she said "The Chamber of Commerce'.  But, I'm suspicious.  I'm thinking it probably is for some sales information.  Anyone have any ideas?

Keeps calling doesn't say anything then hangs up.

A female voice came on the phone and asked if this was (BUSINESS NAME)? I said this is (BUSINESS NAME). She then asked if we were at (ADDRESS)? I asked who was calling and she responded Chamber of Commerce. (We have been in business for 30 years, I would think the Chamber of Commerce would have our address.) I said hold on one second... With her on the line I Googled the phone number she was calling from... Just as the reports came up, she hung up the phone...

I will no longer answer any questions form anyone over the phone

Called to verify business name but got annoyed when i said we are a warehouse not a store. He sounded like he was eating shrimp rangoon dipped in ketchup. Gross!

Woman called twice. I finally answered my desk phone and she said is this *business name* I said yes, she said is this your addresss - but she said the wrong address. She asked who was in charge and I asked who she was and then she asked my name again, ignoring my question. I just hung up.

These Omaha, Nebraska as another company of telemarketers are so rude when their automatic recording machines make these outgoing calls and never accept incoming calls!

A suspicious call came in from this phone number.  It had called previously and I finally decided to answer it.  The young girl (20ish) said she wanted to know if I was "my first and last name" and if the company was "needle logo" and that she was calling from the American Chamber of Commerce and she said it so very fast three times when I asked her to say it slowly where she was calling from, she hung up.  An office worker was there to hear the whole thing and it was very sketchy.  They may be using our voice to control accounts, etc., and it is fraud!!!!
