Called 1 time, rang twice, I answered, they hung up.  I said hello twice,  I could hear them in the background, but they never replied and then hung up.  I think they are collecting for an ultrasound bill (which i never recieved until I got the collection notice)

Darlene left a message for me to call back at an 800 number. I assume it is a collection agency of some kind as I have been working out paying an outstanding medical bill with the doctor's office.

It is a collection agency. I've been getting calls from them for hospital bills that I have been slowly paying off for a year. I was told that they have to call and "remind" us that we have that bill, even though it is taken directly out of my account.

It's a collection agency - Darlene is super nice.  I'm paying off some student debt with her, and she's very understanding when I can't make the payment that month.  It's actually the best collection experience I've ever had.  Go figure. =p

The call is from Portfolio Recovery Associates.  Apparently they have legal actions pending against them for harassing people via phone.
