Yes, they call and don't say anything.  We are on the DNC registry.

This number called.  I did not answer. They did not leave a message.

Caller ID said 'security'  left no message.  

Home security systems.  Sales call.  

Message starts out saying "This is not a sales call - There are reports of break-ins in your area...." then tries to fish for interest in a monitored security system.  I am on the do-not-call registry.  Complaint filed with FCC.

I am getting calls from this number. It hangs up on me without speaking. My number is on the Do not call registry

Sales call.  They do not understand do not call list.

People - the DNC list does not monitor your phone calls!  If you do not report these numbers to your local attorney general or the FCC, nothing will happen.  

Also, if you have done business with these companies in the past, or they are a registered charity, they are allowed to call you until you tell them ( keep track of when and who you talked to!).  If they persist, you can collect up to $1500 in small claims court if they continue to call after a set period - usually 30 days.

Look up the rules in your state and arm yourself with information!  Then DO something about it!  This site cannot do it for you!
