call came in but ended before picking up apparently an automated phishing spambot thingy

I had the same thing happen to me Scott. The number called me and NY phone rang only twice before they hung up and I got the chance to answer it.

Same thing here. Two rings then it hung up

I got a call on the 4th of July. It is illegal for companies, sales or whatever to call on holidays. I'm also on the national do not call list.

Same number called. Said Nebraska. Hung up.

2 rings, hung up, annoying!

Same thing here.  Phone rang twice, then hung up.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't plan on answering anyway.  Number is from Neb.

2-3 Rings then hung up. says number is from Nebraska, same as above.

Only rang 2 times then hung up.  Happened 2 times within 15 minutes.  The ID was "unknown call"

I want to block the no 402-834-1823

Someone calls with this number and I demand to know who it is I want this to stop

The call came in shortly after setting up a paypal account.  Rang twice then hung up.

I agree with Cristi, I just used Paypal for the first time in a year and received a two-ring hang up call the next morning.

Yeah I just received a call, it didn't even finish the first ring before hanging up on me. For those above that said it happened after Paypal, it came about 30 minutes after I finished my SallieMae...I don't know if that is any coincidence or not. I've been on the National Do Not Call List for plenty of years now and I'm still getting calls from time to time.

Same as others 1 call no vm hung up etc. no pay pal connection or Sallie Mae in my case but definitely a scam BS thing. Blocked now..

Recieved a call after doing a mortgage application.  Call said from Nebraska and hung up when i answered.  No way to search if it was a landline or cell number.

It called my friends phone twice and hung up. He doesn't do anything with paypal or salliemae. Or anything really
