Got a call from this number stating they were from a correctional facility.  Don't know anyone from a correctional facility.

I had a collect call from this number , I don't know who try to reach me.

Just recieved a call from this number at 1:45 am. I did not answer but a recording came on and it left a partial voicemail...this is the number to call when you want to leave a message for an inmate...wth?

Received a call from this# at 2:30 am. Hung up by accident so never heard who was calling but was from correctional facility. Really curious now...

402-858-4436 keeps calling my work number. The calls are random and at odd times, mostly late at night. I never answer and it's always the same recording left on my voicemail. It's a collect call from a number one would call to leave a voicemail with an inmate in the Lancaster County, Nebraska corrections facility. I don't know anyone in jail! Calling the correctional facility was no help.

I constantly get calls from this number - sometimes 9 or 10 in 30 minutes - on my cell. Googling the number comes up with Lancaster County Correctional facility so I finally answered it to try to put a stop to it but it was a recording saying it was a call from a inmate with a pause for her to say her name (Wendy something) and to accept the call press 7 or hang up to reject. I hung up but the calls keep coming. On my reject list and calls are getting rejected steadily.

An inmate called my cell number from the Lancaster Department of Corrections.  This person must have entered the call number incorrectly but interesting, none the less.  The number can be found on the Corrections FAQ page - http://lancaster.ne.gov/correct/faq.htm.
How can I leave a voicemail message for an inmate?
 To leave a voicemail for an inmate you will need to complete the following steps:
   You will need to set up a prepaid account with ICSolutions.
   You will need the inmate's CFN number which you can get from the inmate, this website, or from Corrections Staff (402-441-1900).
   You will call 402-858-4436 and listen to the menu to leave a voicemail. You will be charged a fee in order to leave a voicemail for an inmate.

My coworker just got a call from this number telling her it was a collect call from Lancaster county corrections, this is a prank call.

I got this random call from "Piers(Pears)" from the Lancaster County Corrections Center. I dont know anybody with this name? I told some of my close friends about this and I called the number back  and it was an old lady or something and she was yelling at me. I want to make sure that this is not a real inmate and am very concerned on how they got my number. I googled the number and then this robo call killer came up saying it was related to getting people to answer so they can like steal money from them. I dont know how this would work but i guess it did somehow. I just want to make sure that my life is safe and i wont die.
