Only saw phone number, no message was left. They seem to call at least twice a week.

Received a call from this number.  When I picked up it was ringing as if I had called them.

I have gotten 2 of these calls in the last week.  I looked up other info on it: https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-402-930-3659  People there said it was to check on the business' information, for legitimate or illegitimate reasons, who can say.  
I recently forwared my office number to my cell for the the next 2 months while I relocate.  In general I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and if they really want to reach me, they can leave a message.

Saw phone number. Did not recognize it. Let it go to voicemail. Did not leave a message. Seem to call 2x a day.

InfoUSA (infousa.com) provides 'Sales Leads & Mailing lists' to businesses for a fee.  The phone calls you are receiving are likely just calls to update/validate their database of 'sales leads.'  If you have a published business phone, the information they are requesting is already public info, they just are looking for the most current info and to get details for cell and VOIP phones used by businesses.

as soon as i picked up this call, the line got transfered (i heard "trrrr" sound, just like when you call someone) then a woman spoke "hi, are you still located at *********(our address), what is your primary business?"
"who is this calling?"
"we are ### ( i couldn't hear), a internet search engine service"

Get calls from this number LOTS! I finally blocked the number today so their call won't come thru...

they should keep there in the good old usa. leave canada out of it.

Called our company asking for information on employee numbers and salary info....The number is from Omaha, NE

Call was from Info USA -- they supposedly want to confirm business address and contact info.  They call every few months, even though I ask them to stop calling me.

they were talking about someone needing an injection and then
a background voice talking about a celebration. the background voice
was talking profanity. sound like these people were driving.

She called looking for confidential information on our company.

Called to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada  twice a day I don't pick up

They called me to confirm our bussiness info and when i told the women that we are not giving our confidential info regarding the office, she simply hang up on me!! lolO

Same kind of call just came in now and I just verified the information. When I realized it, a foreign lady asking too many questions. This better not affect our business or phone bill. I wish call screen was in tact here.

Does anyone know if this long distance charge has appeared on their bill? I am curious because when they called and I answered it rang as though I was calling them.

Called just now looking for information on the business.  I asked what it's for and they said Info Canada.  I said, that's fine, why do you need the information.  They said Info Canada Search Engine Optimization.  BS to that, considering I am an IT business owner who does SEO.  Info Canada my butt.  Needless to say, they quickly hung up on me.

getting tired of receiving these and other harassing calls several times per day, tying up all of our business lines and wasting my time here's what I have tried to do:

To Whom It May Concern:

Our receptionist today informed us that an unidentified caller asked her to verify our information and then hung up, thus prompting her to inform us that this call had occurred.  We searched through our caller ID and called back the number 402.930.3659 to discover that the caller was a representative of Info USA.  This deception leads us to believe that we may become a victim of a common scam where a recording of our receptionist “verifying” our information will be used as proof that we asked to be listed in your database.  An alert has been sent throughout all departments, especially Accounts Payable, so that we will be able to find and avoid paying false charges from Info USA, whether by that name or an alias and whether attached to our phone bill or through direct invoice.  We will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Nebraska should this occur.

Complaints have been made to consumer websites and also to the FTC about this call.  TCPA regulations were violated and I hope that this practice of duping receptionists and hiding your identity from them will end, either voluntarily or by legal force.

Please remove our company from your databases, call lists and any other lists for internal use or to be sold.  It has been mentioned online that your company not only maintains a database for directory use, but also sells its customers’ information to telemarketing companies.  I do not look forward to the barrage of telemarketing calls our office will receive in addition to those already calling, should this be true.  I do not understand how your company is still in business considering it’s terrible reputation online.  On one website alone, there are 15 pages of complaints from those your company has called.  

A copy of this letter and the postmarked envelope will be kept on file for 3 years.  All new hires who will be answering the phone will be informed of tricks such as the one you pulled on our company in order to prevent an attack like this from recurring.  I will send a copy of this letter to our Attorney General along with copies of our phone records should we be billed or continue to be contacted by Info USA.
