They called at 10:50pm

Caller identified himself as "Jack" from "Integrated Financial Services" and asked for me by my first name.

We got a call at 3:00 am from this number and it was not the first time. How can I stop the calls.

Have received eight calls from (402) 982-0549.  Four of the calls had no one on the other end.  The others identified themselves with an English language name, spoken with an Indian accent.    As someone else noted, I also did not catch the name of the company when they called.  SW GRP is what shows on my caller ID, but that does not help in finding this outsourcing telemarketer, or the American company that they are working for.  

I told the first three callers that I did not need debt consolodation, and that I was on DoNotCall.  The fourth one, I gave some information to them, to see where this may end up. He tried to transfer the call, but the call got disconnected.  I received two more calls, in the following two hours, but with no one on the other end.

In the past, before the mortgage finance collapse, I would get phone calls from India.  If the same company called multiple times, I would give them some information, then let them transfer me to their representative, which took 30 seconds.  I would talk to the American guy, and tell them to give me the name of the telemarketing company, or I would report the American company.  The telemarketing firm was almost always in the States, and I would call them to take me off of their list.  This usually worked.  A couple of telemarketing companies denied that my number was on my list, so I offered to file a criminal complaint of harrassment.  They found my phone number shortly after, and informed me that I was off of their call list.

I have received another four calls, since my last write-up.  The first three had no one on the line.  The last one gave the name Sam, for Top Dog Mortgage.  They had no information from the last time that I talked to them.  I asked them to please transfer me to the loan representative, but they stalled, taking more information from me, transferring me to their supervisor, who does this.  They hung up just before they were done taking information from me.

Call from this number today (6/10/09) at 10:12 am PDT. This is the 2nd time it has called my number. The first time was a few weeks ago.

I got a call from this number.  I said hello a couple of times before they asked for my dad "Anthony."  He goes by Tony so I knew it wasn't someone we knew.  I said, "He's not available, who's this?"  He then asked if he was speaking to Ms.'ourlastname' and I said, "Yes, who is this?"  Then he hung up on me.  How nice.  I tried calling the number back but it wouldn't go through, kept saying I didn't dial it correctly though I did.

Just contacted the Selway Group in Mesa, AZ at 480-969-2350.  A nice gentleman answered the phone.  I asked to be put on his do not call list.  I think they do something like sell telephone numbers.  He has hundreds of customers and wouldn't know which one called me, but put me on the list and promised that none of his customers would be able to call me again.  Am I being naive?

They call at all hours and speak with heavy Indian accents. I am on the DNC list and keep reminding them. Makes me want to not have a phone

The guy had an Indian accent. He asked for someone else's name (not me or my husband). The same person has called me about five times over the past few weeks. Each time I've asked to be taken off their list. Each time I've been hung up on.  

Help!?!

calls and hangs up no message is left. HOW RUDE

I got this call many times and I have not attempted to answer as I don't know who the hell it is. You've guys have solved that clue. When I tried to call back it said "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again." This time I will answer... and I'll be extracting info from them. Not the other way around.

no message left: I called the number back and a recording said not a working number, please check and redial.

They autodial from this and other 402-982-****  numbers. Caller ID says Esta Sol. I picked up last week and it was a recorded opinion poll. They offer a "free" vacation that no doubt requires a credit card.
