New telemarketer #. Shows as "Private Suite". Did not answer, no message left.

Recording about credit cards and "my accounts" to lower interest but named off a bunch of credit cards that I dont have and then said press 1 to speak with someone.

Got the same thing as Mike above. But this recording called my office number on 7/31/2009 @ 1531 EDT. Sounds like a scam.

Same as Mike - Started with "I'm calling with a very important message about your credit cards, but don't be alarmed" then rattled off a bunch of cards I don't have. I hung up as soon as I could tell it was a marketing call.

Then promptly registered my new cell phone number in the DO NOT CALL registry.

Received two calls from this number, first on my cell then on my work line, within an hour. First call was the credit card call described, but my second call was about health care coverage.

They called my work number with a recording about prescription medications.  I hung up right away.

got a call from this number, but I didn't answer it.  They called my cell phone which is registered as a "Do not call #".

Stop the calls to cell for telamarketing purposes.

called home phone, vonage phone #, AND my cell phone number!!!!!

This is a telemarketer selling health care benefits.  Pre-recorded message left.

I started receiving these sorts of messages about 9 months ago, a couple of weeks after I gave a mortgage broker my identifying information, including how he could reach me during the day. Previous to that, I had never received scam calls at my office. Now I receive about one per month. Always a different company, but always a pre-recorded message about something financial (mortgage refi, credit cards, etc).

Like others, what I received from this number today was a message to "press 1" if I wanted to hear urgent information about how to lower the interest rate on my MC, Visa, Amex, or Discover card. And "press 2" if I wanted to be taken off the list. I pressed 2. We shall see...

Out of curiosity I pressed 1 to be connected to a live operator, w/hopes to be connected so that I could unleash my anger of solicitation calls on someone.. but alas, I was kept on hold for 2 mins & then was disconnected.

These people claim to be from my visa mastercard or amex company.  I pressed 1 to speak to a person. When I got I person,  I asked what company he was with and he hung up.  I tried calling back but just got an automated recording about being removed.  This is an obvious scam.  If you get a call from these people contact your local law enforcement.  I will be reporting this to them also.

Telemarketing call

Called, no message. They probably got my number from the Internet because I had it on one of my web sites. Luckily I have google voice and I put this number to the spam list, they will never bother me again.

Shows as "Private Suite". Did not answer.

I called back and the first option in their automated system is to be placed on their internal "do not call list". You just press "1" when prompted.

I have received this call severaly times.  Always offering important information regarding credit cards I do not have.  Each time I have called back and received a message to press 1 to have my number removed from the list.  This obviously does not work.  Last call I received I waited patiently for a representative.  After a few moments a man answers the phone and I immediately ask for him to remove my name from the list.  He tells me "NO", I then ask to speak to a supervisor he again tells me "NO".  I asks what the call was in regards to and he tells me "nothing".  I then ask why do you solicit on cell phones for nothing.  He then proceeds to tell me that he is selling Tampons and asks if I would like to buy any and then hangs up.

Telemarketer that does not abide by the DO NOT CALL list....wait, none of them do!
