What is this about.  Received FAX wanting to buy a company.  Title on the FAX was TRANSCONEINENTAL EQUITY GROUP.  Does anyone know if they are real?

I got the same letter, saying that there was a New almost Billion Air Buyer wanting to bye my company.

IT'S A SCAM!!!

IT'S A FRAUD based in Canada.

I call at night and a white girl answers saying "Executive Office". I'll ask for Ryan Washington and she'll say something like he's traveling out of town for the next two days. She then asks for the name of your company and a phone number.

Here's when it gets fun.

Give them a fake business and phone number. Then ask her how the scam works and listen to her go in a vulgar tirade.

They make their money-- if someone is follish enough to believe they are legit-- before they get too deep into discussion, the scammers will ask for an upfront fee.

They are crooks just like the Nigerian 419ers

I got the same message over my fax. I'm calling the number today to tell them our company considers this spam and to knock it off. It's obvliously some kind of scam if they're sending the same fax to everyone.

This appears to be a scam as I continue to get this letter. Really people, if they wanted to buy your company, they would find out your office number and call to talk to the owner. These people have nothing better to do than these scams to make money off of hard working people.

I called the Fax number listed on the top of the page.  A recording said if we wanted to be removed from their list to enter our fax number.  I had to do this from a regular phone.  The recording verified the fax number and said it would be removed immediately.

the number I was put in touch with Steven Saltzman the same day and I must say at first I was skeptical but when he offered me two times what my business was worth and then issued the funds the next day I knew it was legitimate. Now I'm living the lifestyle of my dreams; new boat, house, and beautiful girls. If it sounds too good to be true it still could be true.

How did you manage to get the Boat, House and Beautiful Girls negotiated into your deal? Your obviously a much better buisness man than the rest of us. How many girls?

Got the same letter and the 403 area code is Alberta, Canada.  My letter actual had a fax removal phone number which I called from a blocked number, its 877-370-2808 in case anybody wants to use it.

Yes, it is a scam, HOWEVER, if you would like to do the same to them for those who got the Fax Spam, their Fax number is 954-582-5090. Send them your own ads and lets spam them as well.
Use a Free Fax Service like FaxZero. You get 2 Free fax a Day and can attach PDF's or JPEG's. Make a Bogus email since you need to confirm through email.

i hide my number and call the number on the fax -no sound-  i think they don't accept private calls . this is scam

They show their website is www.bizsbo.com. They also gave me numbers like 954-586-1800. Next day VP called and said he wrote a book and giving TV shows. After listening to their bull crap, he says, if you don't act quickly, we will get another business to sell in your area. I could not stop laughing.They have used names like Lawrence O'Hara, Steve West, Tal Sela...... Steve Wes even gave me his personal cell phone number, 954-448-5500. Scam artists. Beware of them.

I have Bought and Sold business over the last 15 years.
People who will buy your business are people that know your business,you are competition to them and/or will enhance their own. No one will buy it randomly and it will never come from a fax.

I am posting this to all the "maybe" guys that think there could be anything legitimate here.

SCAM. if you fall for this BS, dont blame anyone but YOURSELF.

Wrote across the letter - "Scam / Reported You"  and faxed back to them, also going to contact the Attorney General and report as well.
