Automated saying i won 2600 airmiles....and had to be over 30 and have a valid credit card.....then was on hold and I hung up....recieved a call on the home and cell phone

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message

Unknown to me. search says unlisted landline in calgary or fire services in youngstown alta.

plain and simple i dont asnwer any number i dont know

if unusre i do what i juat did, google it and surprise suprise yet another crap caller, lol

called my cell phone 3X in a row but i didn't pick up and they didn't leave a msg.

Got a call on my cell and they said I won airmiles and then  my phone got quite.What the hell.

I listened to the whole "you won air miles" BS, and then I got a telemarketer from a tours and travel company saying they will give me free stays in Vegas, etc. I hung up.

I received a phone call from this number and do not know who it is.

they called me and said i am a loyal rogers customer, which i am not, so i hung up... .typical bull marketing call, i guess

The call is a robodialler designed to be one of those scams against businesses to open a line to redirect calls (please press 1). Generally the first step by acquiring phone numbers for faking caller IDs then the line is connected to international numbers. then the fraud calls start happening...

Just got a missed call from this number. Thanks for this site- good to know I missed *nothing*! ;)

I got a messege from this no when my phone was switched off. thanks to this site managed to find out this is a hoax!

all it says is you've won 2600 airmiles - press one to accept......silence and disconnects.  I too do not answer if I do not recognise the number.  Should be that if a single number gets enough complaints it should be removed cut off or fined for abuse.

this time they're calling saying you've won air miles.
when you call back, they have their voicemail set up to say you've dialed an incorrect number (obvious it's not a phone company recording)
too bad Canada can't seem to manage a do no call list as the states do.
if the states can implement a very effective dnc list with a population many times greater than ours, you'd think we could do the same.

this number calls at meal time sometimes two or three times a day.  One time it is airmies, next time it is do you have over 10,000. in debt, next time you have been selected.. and the scams go on and on. wish the telephone companies  with all their technology could do something about blocking these calls

403-779-2121. Sends me recorded msg from air miles. Cost me long distance. I'm not giving them info..

This guy called me, I thought it was a friend at first because there was a lot of background noise, but then he hung up without saying anything...

Thesjokers just called my cell phone.   Only person I knowin Alberta is in the 780 area code, and isn't speaking to me, so I didn't answer.  No message was left.
