westjet free gift scam

Called it back and number not in service... likely telemarketer.

403-791-8642 called me on my cell.  I did not answer in fear of paying long distance rates.  I called the number back from a landline, and got a recorded "the number is not in service"

called me on my cell this morning. I tried to call back but couldn't make it. Maybe a scam.

They called cell saying they are from westjet and i was a preffered customer, and i hung up cause thats a lie, total scam

Called me at 1:28PM Oct. 18th. Same thing, with WestJet, and the number not being in service when I called back.

Wonder if there's a link with cell phone providers...I'm using Bell.

Since when does receiving a call cost you long distance?

I just got the call too saying I was a preferred Westjet customer... I hung up too. I've never had telemarketing calls on this cell number before but just switched to Bell. Hope they're not giving out my number to scam artists.

It can cost on your cell phone, depending on your contract. Mine does

They say they are calling on behalf of Westjet....
Number originates in Alberta but when asked said the location was Cancun.
I can guarantee the connection is through your Bell cell phone.

I get them weekly always from the US more often than here....

These guys just called me.  I'm on the Fido network, but I hung up without even listening to the message.  Glad I did.

Again the same thing West Jet Preferred customer. and it was on my cell and I too have just switched to bell.

They were calling from a different number up to last week and I guess changed the number. Scam, Westjet knows about it.

i just got called from thi damn number but i didnt receive, i call back from skype ,is taying invalid damn ass.

Called me at 12:10PM Oct. 20th. Was not able to pick the phone up.The number not being in service when I called back.

I'm using Fido.

This is not just a Bell/ cell phone thing.  Received this call today at my work landline, which is not a commonly given out number.  I'm pretty sure they're just targeting former customers based on previous information you've provided (for me, I had to fill in an alternate number to my cell the last time I flew as I was switching service providers at the time).

I just got the call on my cell phone which I never give out, and it's a PC phone, not Bell.  Said there was a voicemail, but no message, so you know it's one of those horrible boilerrooms with the delayed voice activated switch.  grrr.

Im with telus and i get calles from them

Received calls from this number on my cell phone and home line. I have never flown westjet
