why is it some don't have to have their "name".  Our phone company won't let us put Mary Brown on our caller ID or anything else besides who the billing is to ... I just don't understand.

I got one of these today. Don't recall seeing it before. Caller ID said "Insuranceco". I actually answered it and the line went dead as soon as I said hello.

been getting a lot of unknown calls here of late, some of the tax consolidation folks, I don't owe on my taxes idiots, others are just from unknown numbers that are irritating when they do not leave a message stating their business, time to be able to put a stop to all this.
I called back the number and it gave an option right away to take me off their list, so I did that and will see if it stops it, but they still did not give a name of a company when I called, it was all electronic answering.

404-335-7161 - They are calling my cell phone.  I added my number to  their do no call list.  They called once before and I got someone on the phone who wanted to sell me something and I let him have it.  I would never buy ANYTHING from a telemarketer.

I got a recorded message about money for small business.  It went to my cell phone.  I had neglected to put the number on the do not call list, but just took care of that.

Why do they call even tho I am on FCC Do Not Call list ... Are they above the law?

Got a call - no response when I answered, dead air, then a hang up.  This is a business, and we have 1 phone line - to be kept open for client calls.  I wish these idiots would stop wasting my time.  I called back to request removal of our number, but we'll see if that flies or not.  I understand from some other sites like this that they are promising millions to small businesses.
