called and said they had the wrong number. If you call it back it says this is no longer a valid extension

I got a call from 404-338-8999 they called my ex-husband and said they sent two letters to me and they were both returned, wanted information on current address and phone number for me. Anyone know anything about this number?

Got a call from this number and started to ask about my
Business and told my employee for me to call back
When I did it reply was the number ext does not work

Called at 9.15 Monday 10/21/2013 asking for a Mr King...
I told him Mr King was a fight promoter in Las Vegas....
and this cell phone number had been mine for the last 8 years....
said he would remove the number from their database...which I doubt....

Said it was the IRS seeking info on a person I dont know

They keep calling my  number

Have received calls from this # over the last few weeks, showing IRS on my caller ID.  I called the # back and the recording said it was not a working #.  I had let the prior 6 or 7 calls go to my answering machine.  However, no message was left.  The last time I received a call, I answered it.  The woman said she was from the IRS. I asked why, when I called the # back did I receive a recording saying this # was not a working #.  She replied that it was her direct line.  I said the IRS does not phone people for 1st contact and that her scam was not working with me.  I also suggested  she stop trying to scam people before she gets in trouble.

They didn't leave a message, but when I called it back it says that it's not a valid number.
