Called while I was on other line. I called back and got a message that I would like to be put on DO NOT CALL list then press 1.. I did and have no idea who the company is.Bunch of

Missed a call on my cell. Called back next day and was told it was not a working number.

They called asking me to renew my car warranty, though I never gave them my information. I immediately and nicely asked them to remove me from the list- while I was speaking she hung up on me. That is illegal. I've been on the do not call registry for my cell phone so I'm not supposed to receive calls like this, and they are suppose to honor your request.  I called them back, and all circuits were busy.  I called back a minute later and it was not a working number.  Tried again, and all circuits are busy.  They obviously don't want you to be able to call them back. I work for a place where they make the same kind of calls for my boss. I've always asked them to remove us from the list. Half of the time they hang up before you can finish your request. Because it is illegal, they can be sued for this. They never remove you from their list.  
The next time it happens I will act like I am interested so I can get their contact information and talk to a manager.

Received a missed call from this number. When I called back, got the same recorded message as above: If you like to be placed on our Do Not Call list, press 1. No mention of a company name.

I just got a call. The man said hello and called me by my last name twice.  When I asked who was calling,  he hung up. When I called back, I got a message about being placed on the do not call list for future cals from this number.  My cell phone is already supposed to be on the do not call list.

This number has called relentlessly and I finally picked up.  They said they were calling about my car warranty, knew the make and model and my name.  When I asked what they wanted they hung up

Called my phone twice in a row. I answered both times, heard nothing but silence. I hung up the first time, when they called a second time, they hung up after I answered.

Same problem as reported by others. The woman who called was talking so fast that I could not understand her. I only heard one word, which was warranty.  When I asked her to slow down and repeat what she said the line went dead. She obviously could have cared less. I called the number back, which then asked me to press "1" if I wanted to be added to the Do Not Call List. Please send these complaints to Clark Howard. It's obviously a scam, but how do they make money?

I got the same phone call. It's a scam.

Got a call this morning on my cell phone from this number.  I didn't answer and no message was left.  Only the number showed on caller ID, no name.

Got a call from this number. Didn't answer it because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I immediately called back and got a recording...." If you would like to place your number on the do not call list for the number that just called you then press 1". I did that. I don't know who this is but I cant stand calls I didn't ask for. I would love to develop a way to send high voltage electricity back to these people through the phone system.... bet they wouldn't call back then!
