They call every day, if I don't answer, they do not leave a message.
I answered today.
They said they are calling about a file they have at their office.
They gave me the wrong address, them they asked my dirth date, and told me the wrong date.
They refused to divulge any information at all about who they were.
I hung up.
I am really sick of these calls every day, and think it is a scam.

Hey everybody! Been getting this call as well beware of them using somebody elses name as well. Have had a lot of hang ups on this line as well. Don't give out any personnal information over the phone. Even if they tell you one thing just to get you to say the correct thing by accident over the phone. Oh! We even had one ask for a Social Security number! We got took on two different ones claiming to be collection agency for a credit card. Beware!

Yet again these idiots are calling and hanging up. I don't trust ANY collection agency or somebody claiming to be one. To many are running scams.

This group or person keeps saying we've got to pay them instead of the 3 or 4 other so called collects for the same damn card! Which one do you pay and which one is REALLY representing the credit card company (if you do) own?

I have no clue who is calling ... never leaves a message .... but calls 3-4 times a day. I refuse to answer any calls from this number

Left two messages.  I have to "call back about a file" and they leave a first name (Cindy, this time), an 800 number, and a "file number."  Sounds like a scare tactic.

My guess is this is a debt collector.  I have a very common name, and debt collectors often call me to "fish" for the right Bob Brown.

Under the FDCPA, collectors must identify themselves and their company, and that didn't happen, so it may be some other kind of scam.  In any case, given the number of others getting calls supposedly from this number, it's probably not worth you while to call back.

I discovered number 404-492-9338 registers out of Atlanta, GA. It comes up on the caller ID as Atlanta, GA with a Tamp, FL number (813)345-5076. They leave no msg and say nothing when you pick up the phone. Hit the redial and got Orc Protel. They are located at 1723 Continental Dr; Lansing, IL 60438. Their phone numbers are as follows: 708-895-3549, 708-418-7400 and last 708-418-7412. I say call and bug them like they bug us. Ever good turns deserves another. Make your voice heard and advised them we will not take their rude behavior anymore and wish for them to honor the Do Not Call list. Or is that list a joke? I have been on it since I got this number a year ago and still have problems with these calls. Good luck.

Write down when they call and the time. Keep your records. When you call them back get a name and title of the person you are speaking with. This way when it continues to happen you can show why they should pay you.

This company is really annoying me. They call ALL THE TIME for someone I have no idea who he is.
I've told them that at least a million times. I also told them to take me off their list. They act annoyed with me, can you imagine how annoying that is. I wish they would close this place down. I'm so annoyed I

I just called that number back and ask them if a john smith was there and she said wait a minute I'll check.
She came back to the phone and said no, I don't think anyone is here with that name and I said VERY LOUDLY THERE IS NOBODY HERE WITH THAT NAME EITHER SO STOP CALLING ME! I enjoyed pissing her off so much I thought I would share it!!!!!

they call 3 - 4 times a day.  Im not home. They call at 9PM at night and they call 8
AM Saturday and Sunday;  I told they they have the wrong person, they said it doesnt matter, Im responsible for my father's debt. My father died 2 years ago, after the Bank took everything and left us nothing but headache and frustration.  I told Bank of America to fxxk off or I will sue for defimation of character, slander and harrassament.

Pull your credit report for free from each of the 3 major bureaus twice a yar and then pay the company direct and that way you know for sure who you are paying :)

Bank of America got billions of dollars in tax payer bailouts. They charge outrageous fees and interest rates. They use customer money with no fair return on investment. Their crooks and they don't need to be paid back for what was basically a computer entry in the first place. Tell them the truth, their crooks and bottom feeders, to get an honest job, your never going to have the money to pay them and to never call you again. If they do, sue them ( its easy paper work and a trip to the clerks office). If they sue you (probably want) dispute it and counter sue. They will drop it then. The statue of limitations will then run out. You can rebuild your credit in a year or two. No worrys, you just have to know what they think you are too stupid to figure out.

I had someone by the name of "Kevin Doe" from Humphries & Associates leave a message saying he is calling from a law firm and has a complaint against me in his office.  Well, Mr. Doe, if you were smart you would know that you have to serve me the complaint!  Dumb*ss.  I work for lawyers and this person thinks he is slick.  Left him a message telling him to stop lying on his voicemail he is not working for a law firm and "Kevin Doe" is an alias!  They are a collection agency trying to use any tactic they can!
