Just received this call. Recorded message to press one to talk to a representative about lowering my credit card interest rate. Did not say which company or card.

Same here, so I went along for ride to hear what they had to say. Basically nothing specific, just basic info that could apply to most people, so when I said I do nothing over phone, you can mail me info, they hung up.
If anything came out of this call it was that I made person waste there time and I amused myself.

After saying hello and politely asking to be removed from the calling list the caller slammed the phone down and hung up. That wasn't very nice.

This is a scam.  I did not answer because it came in on my cell phone which is registered with the Do Not Call.  However if this is someone offering to lower your credit card rates this is positively a scam and has been going on for years.  They want your credit card info and anything else you give them to get into those accounts.  The phone numbers they use are phony and obtained through software that allows them to make-up phone numbers that look legitimate.  Last time the Feds busted these scam artists it was five people calling from a house in Florida somewhere.  Doesn't do much good to block the numbers because they are phony.

Multiple calls from this "company". Recorded message tells me that my credit card is in good standing, and to press '1' for offers to lower my interest rate. No credit company name provided.

Recognized the 404 area code from roughly 20 yrs ago as a metro/general area Atlanta GA number and although my family who lived in Marietta, Ga moved away years ago I answered.  It was an automated message. The message was pretty much a lead into credit card offer.  I ended the call. My "Hello" was the only real time voice on the call.  I chose to block the number.

Received a call of a recorded message regarding my credit. Pressed 1 for a live operator. Couldn't hear or understand the operator due to background noise, so I just hung up. I tried to call the number back, but received a message that it was "no longer in use or disconnected". I have a feeling this is a fraud.

Just received a call from 404-964-4191. It was automated. Asking for me to press 1. It did not say what company they are calling from. I pressed 1. Some guy was going on about lowering my interest rate and that I have a huge balance on my card. I keep asking what card. Finally he just hung up on me. Very SHADY!
