Called early in the morning (8:30). Did not answer, and no message. Called back, rang once, then went to a message that the number was no longer in service. Whitepages says it's a landline in Oklahoma.

This number is calling my phone, but there is no one or recording on the line!! How does someone block this number?

I am getting ac all from this phone number and ironically the person asked me to be placed on hold. Then the person said her PC was blocked and will call back. I also check the WWW noting that the phone # is aligned with OSU ( Oklahoma State University). A little odd for my taste...could it be research or telemarketing or fraud......

This number calls several times a week and knows my name and ask that I call back "today". Does anybody know what company or who this individual is?
Caller has a foreign accent.

Please investigate and stop this caller from future calls.

I've been getting calls from this number for over a week. I try to call back and get the recording that the number is no longer in service.  Does anyone know who this is?

I get about 10 calls a day from these people and I never answer. They've left me messages that they're CIT and that I have to call back to some 800#. I've researched this 405 # and have seen others saying that it is CIT mortgage company. The strangest, and most annoying, part of this is that I don't live near Oklahoma and I don't own a home.

Have received several calls from this number and they have asked for me or my wife by our first name.  When I respond the call goes away and when I try to call the number I get the disconnected or no longer in service message

CIT recently dumped their home mortgage operation and laid off the employees.  The loans that were in place are being service by temps who are completely clueless.
They start the day with a list of numbers to call.  Half the time if they get a person, the caller is lost.

they call me and they leave no message and when I call back the number says that is disconnected!!

this guy calls me weekly from my cell and after my cell stops ringing my HOME phone rings RIGHT AFTER!!!!!! im less than 20 yrs so i odnt know who the crap would know me from OKLAHOMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CIT still has many mortgage/equity accounts in house.   The caller ID number of 945-1000 is from CIT office in Oklahoma.  It has numerous departments.  The home equity department is not the ONLY thing they service.  They should leave a telephone number for you to call back if they have asked for you by name.

I am so sick and tired of this 405-945-1000 calling me, they call from 7am to late in the evening all day and when I answer nothing, when I call back it says this number has been disconnected. I have to turn my phone off because this number keeps calling my house. I don't even know anyone from the 405 area code. Someone needs to do something about this number.

The people calling from that number say that they are working for CIT Mortgage. They are calling to collect a debt. I have had up to 6 calls in one day when I have not been home. I have spoken to several of the reps and have asked to speak to a Supervisor. I have been screamed at, lectured and hung up on. In speaking with other reps I have been told that the system reports that I am rude. After speaking with at least 4 reps I was never transfered to a supervisor. Our Mortgage was transferd to this Company and it has been a nightmare.Time to write to the FTC.

Somebody calls to my office about 7 or 8 times, early in the morning. Whoever it is don't speak, just stay on the phone listening you to say Hello? Hello?. Then I hang up. After this I called back and the phone is disconnected.  I agree with you all! It's a crap.

this number is cit mortgage collections, they have answered once when i picked up the phone and the person spoke english so poorly i have no clue who it was or what they said. i had to keep asking her to repeat herself and spell what she was saying finally i got so frustrated i hung up

I have recieved about a dozen phone calls from them and never do they answer when I do.  Very annoying and starting to piss me off.

they are crasy calling all they time! I'm not ansevering

i have been calling back for 3 mnths,  they won't call me back on my loan litagation,  trying to get a loan modification,  they keep telling me they will call me back,  i have done everything thing they have asked me to do.
they are hard to deal with,  i wish i had a another co for my mortgage.

when I pick up, nobody answer and a message say's: we are sorry you have reach the number that has been disconected or is no longer in service....

We have been getting calls from this number for a couple of months
We do not have any mortgage through CIT, they never leave a message
and when I try to call them back, it says sorry disconnected.
I am going to report this to our commisioner and see what happens..
From reading the comments here and other websites this has been
on going for a few years now!
