Just got a call from this number, I suspect it's some sort of scam, and didn't pick up.

This is a home refinance scammer.  They will ignore requests to obey the Do Not Call laws and just keep trying.

I'm fairly sure these folks are credit card scam artists. I use term "artist" very loosely. If they ever use Ex-Lax, they'll fadr away into air.

"There's nothing wrong with your credit account.......but it is urgent you call us back....."     We didn't answer it... have gotten these calls before.  If there's nothing wrong with out account, there's no need to call.

I just turned them in to do-not call registry.Wish the do-not call would do more to stop these callers when they are reported. This  "Credit card Services company" will not stop calling. I have had five calls in the past few weeks. They get very rude when you finally get a live person on the phone and I tell them to stop calling.

I just got one of these calls.I called back no answer? I thought it was my MasterCard company.

Why would my credit card company offer me a lower interest rate when my card stays maxed out nearly all the time anyway? These scammers are idiots!

Another criminal telemarketer (lower finance rates) skirting the law put in place to eliminate this junk. I have to answer the phone for my business and then this crap? Hey, cops! What do we need you for if you won't enforce the laws. Look at all the complaints here...

Had a frank and honest conversation with what seemed to be a male with a vaguely middle-eastern accent. He became as vulgar as me. I wondered where he learned to use English words like that (France? maybe). He seemed to take umbrage at some of my suggestions of what he should do with his mother before he hung up. It was cathartic for me. Not sure how he felt.

Calmly explained that I would break the legs of the next person who called me from them, after 3 attempts to use their callback and "hit 1" BS. Seemed to be an effective deterrent.

I won't tell you what I said but the language and subject matter that came out of this senior citizen's mouth was enough to stop them....for about a month. Got another call last night but I let it go to message. Love hearing from a machine  that I can get a lower credit card interest rate especially since I tore up my cards a decade ago.

9:15am - received call from this spoofed number by scammer offering to adjust credit card interest rates.
Let answering machine take call. Same message as from 701-920-9550 "Credit Services".
Have, as usual, reported it to the DNC Registry.

“There’s no problems currently with your accounts.  It is urgent however that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9 percent.   Your eligibility  expires shortly.  So please consider this your final notice.  Please press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates or press 2 to discontinue further notices.  Thank you and have a great day.”

Got a call from this number. Wanting to lower my interest rate on my credits.  I do not have any credit cards - declared Bankruptcy a year ago.  I do not even have a car loan - car has been paid off for over 2 years.  This is a scam.

Keep getting calls from these people, live people stating they are from Consumer Services or Cardholder Services telling me it is urgent that I call them regarding lowering my interest rate on my loan...don't have a loan with these people.  Bunch of scammers, someone should investigate these people and do something about their criminal behavior.

Came across as "Reset" on caller id with this phone number.  Press 1 to speak to a representative to lower your credit card interest rates, press 9 to be taken off our call list.

Message (automated voice) left on my answering machine starts while my outgoing message is playing. So nothing is said that identifies the caller. It starts with "speak to you about your eligibility for reducing the interest rate on your current account. Press 1 to speak to a live operator to reduce your rate, press 9 to be removed from further notices." Since the call isn't being answered and we can't select 9, they keep calling.
We had another company constantly call before that gave the name of the company and the person calling, along with a phone number. I reported them to the BBB for that area and to the National Do Not Call Registry. When the company finally responded to the BBB, the calls stopped.
If I get a call from this 406 number again (Montana's area code), I will contact the BBB and NDNCR again, even if all I have is the phone number.
