- What these S.O.A.B. do is either charge your phone line or ask you for a credit card number to "verify" age. They also try to make you talk and say a few key phrases so that they can piece together an agreement from you.

Other times they'll call and tell you that you won a car, a cell phone, a new home, Apple products, etc...

Left a (pre-recorded) voice mail that I'd won a free trip...blah...blahhh...press 9... blah blah...

I won! I won! Imagine my luck! A free cruise! I wish these Sh*t mongers would all PO. Lots of calls lately for fishing... Do not give out any info!

You have won something, these calls which we get several times in one day are very annoying and downright upsetting because we have a sick relative in the hospital.

I am on the DNCL and have been getting these calls since last week.  Any advise as to how I can stop them?????

same thing - I pressed 9, and the operator was very rude, when I asked what company it was . How do you get off their list ??!!?!?!?!

My number is on the DNCL so I registered a complaint and also blocked them on my phone so they don't come through anymore.

You can complain to the DNCL, CRTC or whoever you want, but these calls originate in the US and there is nothing that the CRTC, DNCL or anybody else in Canada can do about it.  You only option is to hangup immeditaely.
