Got a call from them just now. Recording of someone girl named Heather about calling them about lowering interest rates on credit card.

Got the same call !  Automated   from  Card Services  ?   Said that they wanted to help me w/ CC debt ..  I qualified for 6.9 %  .  LOL     Right !!    I had excellent credit for  30 years and couldn't get it that low ..   Asked if I was interested in speaking to Rep .   hit #1    if  not  #2  ..   I hit  2  and   Gerald  was on the line immediately  .   NO  Bud   I hit   #2  !!    LOL      CLICK ..   They WILL call Back !!

Credit card marketing company pretending to be ours calling about a final notice we need to respond to (but they're NOT our credit card company.) We pressed 1 to speak to a representative, told him that we're on the DNCR, and asked that they remove our number from their marketing list, but he put he hung up on us. We called back, got a voicemail asking us to press 1 to be removed from their list, but then their phone disconnects. We filed complaints with the DNCR + FCC, and will keep doing so until those parasites stop harassing us.

I received a robocall from (406) 219-2525 with a message from "your credit card company" offering to lower my interest rate.  This is a well known scam.  The last time I spoke with a representative after a similar message, I asked to have my name and telephone number from their calling lists.  I was cursed at then he hung up on me.  This is obviously an illegal scam.

Once I see numbers I do not recognize, nor am able to identify online, I save these kinds of numbers in my Contact List under the name "DNA" or DO NOT ANSWER. Then whenever the number calls again, I know to just hit "end" and ignore the ring.
Since I began doing this, I am not annoyed and feel I am Smarter than they are. Good luck all.

I got a call from this number and they said something about lower intrest rates to 6.1

I got the same pre recorded call from this number about the chance to lower interest on my credit card.  I pressed 1 and demanded to be removed from their list.  Then I called the number back and pressed 1 to be removed from the list as well.

I get this same phone call several times a day from different phone numbers in different parts of the country.

I filed a complaint with the FCC.  What can be done to stop these scammers?????

RECEIVED AT LEAST 5 CALLS FROM 406 219 2525 . TIRED OF THIS. HOW DO WE GET RID OF THE CALLS ? LISTED ON THE  DNC REGISTER.

I am no longer on the 'Do Not Call' registry, because these unknowns were calling anyhow.  It seems the more that I file with the government registry...the more these unknown telemarketers, etc. call.  

We have a 'Right to Privacy'; but, there is the 'Open Public Record Act'.  Is this not a conflict of interest?  You would believe a company would need authorization from the person (people) whose name, address, telephone number (sometimes age)  is about to be publicly displayed on the world wide internet.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I received a call from this number - 406-219-2525 - on July 23, 2011.  My Caller ID displayed the letters "PROCEDURES" and the telephone number.  It is likely a fake telephone number but that does not matter.

EVERY TIME I receive an unwanted call such as this one I report it to the FTC using its online complaint format.  It doesn't matter if it is a fake number or not.  I provide the date, time of the call, what Caller ID displayed and the message if there was one.  I have decided to let the FTC know that people are tired of unwanted calls.

These companies/individuals know that most people will not bother to complain to the FTC - that is what they are relying on.  Thus, they stay under the FTC's radar.  Complaining at this website, other than identifying the caller and letting others know they are not unique, does little to stop the calls.

If more people would complain to the FTC and not just complain on this forum, the FTC WILL take action against these annoying callers.  The FTC does not act on one complaint alone.  It takes many complaints before they will take action - but they DO take action if enough citizens complain.

Received phone call at 8:45 A.M. Sat 7/23/11

I have been reporting each and every one of these calls, and maybe because of this, some of the ones who were constantly calling have seemed to stop. (We never answer any unknown or unidentified number).   If every one would report every call of this type that they get, maybe slowly and surely we can get action taken on some of these people.

caller states they will lower credit card interest to less than 7%. When questioned further the caller hangs up.

Get an automated lingo about your credit and its your final notice ( Ya right) they call all the time, so I listened today and hit 1 to speak with a LIVE operator. Obviously call goes to a foreign country. I chewed her out but like that matters! 7:30 in the AM~

I wish our government would crack down on these sobs!   Got the same call this morning.  I've
reported numerous calls from the same telephone number to the FCC and was told to change
my number!  The other suggestion from the FCC was to discontinue my voice mail service and just
don't answer these calls; if the company does not get a pickup on the line then they won't call back.

This number displayed for me as being from +40 621 925 25, which would make it a romanian number...

It doesn't do any good to report it to the FTC.  I'm on the list, too, and have reported multiple companies.  I still get the calls and have for several years.  

This one is now also calling my cell phone.  How they got the number, I've not figured out yet.  They call me 2-3 times a day on my cell some days and about the same on my house phone.  I"M SICK OF IT, and the gov't is worthless in helping to deal with it.

Caller tried to have me install a home security system. When I told them I don't own the house, they hung up.
