I get  Loan  Mod.  Dept  Forsyth  MT. they  want to  get  info  on  you for  some  kind  of  credit  Iwould  NOT  give  any  info to any  body I  don,t  know it  could  be  a scam  looking  for  info

Called 10/13/2010 at 9:00am.   Was a robo call to refinance loans of some kind.   I'm on the Fed DNC list so I filed a complaint with the FTC.

I got a recorded message left on my voice mail.  The caller did not identify themselves or their company.  The caller told me to press 5 to start a refinance process on my credit card.  Sounds like a possible identity-theft scam.  I am on the Federal Do Not Call list, so I reported it to them.

so did I!  when I phoned the number there was a recording stating the number was disconnected.

just like the above...i'm on the DNC list...I have also TOLD my lender to take me OFF any list they have or share!  Who the heck is this jerk using a computer to call me?

Whenever I get these types of calls with no message left....I'll answer the call, but don't hang up for a while, it ties up their lines until the phone system is disconnected....it also means that the robo caller can't re-dial until that happens, lol...

Or if you do get a live person on the line, tell them to "hold on"..then flush a toilet, read the paper, make a meal, then come back.."oh, sorry you still there? hang on"...then watch tv, wash your hands, etc.

WAIT until you're disconnected from them, it could 5-15 minutes, but it does waste their time and money (have to pay for the long distance service)....

Some VOIP services have a feature called call blocking.  So when the robo caller calls, you won't even hear it.  The robo caller hears the message telling them they dialed a non-working number.  Not all VOIP services have this.  Vonage still can't get their act together with this simple feature so I dropped them.  I'm using phone.com - in the call log (which you can see on a web site), their's a button which you can press to send caller numbers to your block list.  Check it out!

I have received calls form this number on a regular basis.. today was the 1st time I answered it, they said hit #3 if you are NOT interested.... we'll see if that makes them stop!

Got a call at about 9:24 this morning.  A robo call wanting to talk to me about our credit card.  Hung up and blocked the call.

Keeps on calling, all the time, I need this to stop

This number called me this morning, annoying telemarketers I'm sure.  My way of dealing with #'s I don't recognize, let them ring and delete them!!!!!

You could also ask them stupid questions like "Do you prefer peas or carrots?".  This will really set them back.

Called the Montana General Consumer Protection Agency.  This number was sold by Pacific Telecom Communications in CA.  The calls are coming from all over the country.  Caller ID said Loan Modification Department when I answered.  Pressed 1, person said his name was Rob.  When I asked him a question he hung up.  I am on "DO NOT CALL LIST".   Other calls I have gotten have said Glenn Dale MD.  Call the FTC 877-382-4357 and file a complaint.  This is crazy.  Pressing 2 to remove does no good.

I got two calls today from this number. I did not answer b/c I do not know the caller. How can I report this number? And to whom should I report it?

We're also on DNC list.  Incoming call was an automated message to press "1" for info for health insurance.  Pressed "1" to ask to be removed, and another recording indicated all agents were busy, so it instructed to leave a message.  Left a message to be removed.  Reporting to FTC www.esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  No company name ever mentioned.

This number called and said to setup a job interview to press 1. I went to press one and the phone went died, I tryed to call back it said all lines buzzies. This people need to stop.

Just got a call from them 20 minutes ago on my brand new cell... i gave the number to family/friends. How the hell do they get my cell number?
