- sickntired| 1 replyI get a call from this number at least once a week. I have my attorney looking into who owns the number and from there a polite letter will be sent asking caller to cease and desist.
- Cher replies to Jon| 2 repliesThis is Cello, Inc, a medical insurance brokerage firm in MT. They are trying to sell medical insurance DISCOUNT policies, not full medical coverage plans with "A+" companies such as BCBS, Etna or United Healthcare. More like Joe's DIscount Medical Plan. The calls are piped thru Verizon and spoofed to show 406-426-3275, even though they are really coming in from all over the country. They hire private citizens to work from their homes. Because this company spoofs the phone numbers to hide the true callers identity and location, that caller cannot remove your phone number; only Cello, Inc. in MT can, so they just hang up rather than here us rant and rave to remove the number. The caller has no idea what number or person they are soliciting to next as the auto-dialer is in MT and links to a work from home solicitor. After it connects, the name comes up on the screen as to who they are to ask for. And it continues.....
- Sick&TiredWhen I get these "Spam" calls, which is more often than I like, I simply answer the phone and immediately hit the # sign on my keypad 7 or 8 times which ends up disconnecting the call. If this is a computer generated call this repetitive tone will confuse the system into thinking it is not a valid number and it will delete your number form their auto dial list.
If it is manually dialed it will irritate the caller as much as they irritate you and they probably will not try again (definitely Will stop after 2-3 times hearing the same response when answered.
Try it, You will like getting back at these telemarketers as much as I do!!!- Caller: WHO CARES
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Jen replies to sickntiredIf you get the name and addy of the company from your lawyer, can you post it so we can file complaints with the Do Not Call Registry with their formal information?
Today was my 5th call. I waited for an operator, told him to take me off their list, told him I am on the Do Not Call registry and have filed complaints on their other calls. Take me off the list or I will be taking legal action....yep, he hung up..... - DorrisHad a few alls from this # finally someone spoke - I asked them not to call again
- Paladin replies to Cher| 1 replyIf this is "Cello, Inc.", there is no listing in Montana for any such company. Where did you get your information?
Sounds like you work for this outfit since you can give all the detail except where this company is actually located. - Paladin replies to PaladinApologies to Cher - There was a typo in that post.
I believe the company Cher mentioned was Cellco, not Cello, which was also the company name I got from the phone company when I called. It's a local phone company, not a health insurance scammer.
The health insurance outfit just uses the Cellco phone service.

They claim to not be able to do anything about the abuse but said to call the national Do Not Call number and add your phone number to the list. I've done that years ago, but she tells me I have to do it again.
I called my phone company and they added a Call Block feature (I got a new bundled service and will save $24 a month so the call was worth it to me).
Dial *78 and choose Call Block, enter the number 406-426-3275 and you're good to go.
