Called and left no message    caller id:  IMS

The same here.  They called and their caller ID is listed as IMS.  They never leave a message and simply hang up.

Called and when I answered (ready to read them the riot act) they didn't even answer. Just silence. Not the 1st call from them either. VERY annoying.

Just received a call from this number -- dead silence on the other end.  The call disconnected after about 7 seconds.

Yes, received a couple of calls from these hang up jokers. The ID said Unknown Name. I have the service that doesn't accept blocked calls so I don't know how these people manage to get through with "Unknown Name".  The computer says 406 is Montana.  Don't know anyone there.  I am on the No Call list but apparently they aren't concerned.  I believe it is a scam like others here and or they are trying to monitor my movements since they keep hanging up.

Sometimes I wonder if these phone calls are trying to activate a communication with my computer in some way. Anyone ever heard of something like that. ??

They told me i had won either $2500, a 45 inch tv, or 7 days in the Bahamas. Then they said I had to answer three questions to claim the prize. First question was what age group--they gave a range of ages. Rather than answer, I told them give it to charity.

I just got a call from this number this guy with an accent told me that my number was selected in a drawing and i won 3 free hotel stays.. he then told me he wanted to ask me 3 questions first my age group once i told him i was 20... lie lol then he asked for someone older to speak to...after i told him no one was home older he asked my first and last name ... i told him Johnson Fredrick lmao

This is Federal Financial Group.  They are trying to get anyone they can on the phone to try to supposedly give away a vacation.  They call on every line we have at work almost daily and when I asked to speak to a supervisor the lady said I could talk to her.  I explained the phone call was recorded and we want them to stop callling.  She asked "why?"  I told her no telemarketers we will call if we need something and she said "we are not telemarketers!!"  Told I didn't care they were making unsolicited calls to a number we have asked them not to call and i hung up,  They will call again.  It's almost like a game to them for some reason.

I agree and think that they are trying to get information on someone so they can sell it to groups that sell timeshares.  The more names and numbers they can get that show active in their system(and a call with someone picking up is an active account) the more they get paid for their lists.  Try to block the actual number 406-852-8203.  Good luck

A female with Asian accent. She first asked to speak to a manager. We has several managers so I asked her which one. She ignored my question and then asked if I was an employee of [my company] which she appeared to have trouble reading from whatever list of document she had. I then hung up.

I just received a call from this number asking for a the ower of the company confirming the "manager's name ". I asked if I could take a message and she proceeded to tell me, "Well, you're an employee of the company right? You can help me. This is not a sales call. I am calling from Federal Financial and we are going to send you a scrath card so you can winn a 2010 fors explorer just need to answer 3 questions. 1. are you older then 18 year? 2.do you have an income more them 29,000-to 39,000 conbined. 3.0 i dont know because i hand up scam scam scam scam scam scam

I got the same call with the same questions.  I played along to see what it was about, and gave bogus answers to the Qs.  The thing I found most interesting was the lady's accent!?  She almost sounded sythesized . . kept calling me by my full name.  I'll see if I can block the confirmation call at my cell  provider's website.

Do you think thats the same business ? or are they trying to connect to my computer?

This is a phishing scam. Companies like IMS & FFG are looking to tie in the info they collect from you to the phone # they have. This verifies to companies like CPC & CCA that they have the correct person for callbacks looking to collect a past due debt. Normally these debts are past the statute of limitations. These companies will never stop scamming. They find new and creative ways to skirt the laws about harrassing people. Find a way to block them or, if you have caller ID, just don't answer. This is BAD business to the extreme and our system will not lift a finger to help (too many other crimes that are more important).

Also watch for IMS or FFG #s 801-676-8758 & 603-834-6301. Area codes don't mean anything to these companies, they can apply for any # they want to, no matter where they are based.

First I thought thats a company who try about the calls to collect with my computer, but now i know that is a company who try to scam the people..

We pay the gov. taxes, where the hell is the FCC and the FTC, they just take the money and run. They work for those telemarketers, by putting some lax laws.
They better do their job and not give those [***] the right to bother people????
