Phoned but would not leave a message.

Phoned yesterday at 10.55 am. I was not near my phone. They would not leave a message.

Scam from so call microsoft tech dept stating computer is sending out help for virus in PC message. Total Scam and don't call back of give them any private info or let them remotely access to your computer

Just called imitating a Microsoft tech and telling me I had a virus and someone was controlling my computer. I asked for his phone number to call him back and he hung up.

A man with an indian accent called from this number claiming to be from Microsoft Help Desk to help me with a computer issue of hacking. Said his name was Savio and to call him back at 229-255-8730.

I went to the Microsoft Support website and read, "Microsoft will not make unsolicited phone calls about computer security or software fixes. If you receive a call like this one, it’s a scam and all you need to do is hang up." -Eve Blakemore Group Manager, Trustworthy Computing

Indian sounding man said he was with Microsoft and I had people doing illegal activities from my computer. I told him I would call Microsoft when I got home and if this were true then anyone there could help me. He said to deal only directly with him the number he would give me and I hung up.

Just got a call from this number. Didn't leave message.  Tried to call back and it said that this number could not be completed as dialed

I got a phone call from this number from a guy who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Support.  He told me that he is getting a report from my computer that tells him that it is going to fail in a few days.  He offered to connect to my computer and to show me what the problem is that I am a computer tech with over 20 years of experience.  My home computer network is properly secured.  BEWARE...this is a scam.  If you allow this person to connect to your computer it will become compromised.  If in doubt, invest in a decent antivirus software, install antispyware program (lots of them are free) and scan your computer thoroughly.  If you are affraid of your computer failing, back up your data on the regular basis.  I strongly advise against allowing this guy into your computer.

Call on Viber from this number. Woman without a foreign accent knew my name and told me she was from windows technical support to help me with a problem on my computer. When I have answered "Really?" she hung up.

Got a call from this number 406-893-2166 they said they were from Microsoft was seeing surveyors reported to them from my computer. Hung up on them searched this phone number and found it's attached to a total scam. Do not let him in your computer or give him any information.

Phoned. I wasn't near the phone. No message left on answering service.

Just received another call from 4068932166 stating that I have a computer that is infected and downloading malicious software.  He said he was with Microsoft Technical Support and I questioned why MS was calling unsolicited and he hung up.  He has called many times and won't stop calling but never leaves a message.

I refuse to answer calls from unknown numbers. Number repeated in call display. Scammers.

Same as above  Gave me a number of 229-255-3730, didn't want to at first but then did.

      I get these calls after I've spoken to Dell in India. I tell them they are homosexuals and that they have sex with animals!  They usually hang-up.
      There must be a lot of telephone eavesdropping in India. I will never buy another Dell computer because of their involvements in India. I have Acer & H-Packard equipment too & no calls with Indian accents.

foreigner (Mexican accent) called saying he was a Microsoft Rep. He said my computer was sending lots of automated emails to Microsoft. He asked if I made any software changes or downloads in the last few days. I said no and he hung up.
Microsoft doesn't have an email you can reply to. They also don't make unsolicited calls. They also have spam/security to block emails that are suspicious/infected. Sooooo......this guy is dumb.
Just ignore or hangup or be rude to him. Imo, Its ok to be rude to someone trying to do you harm.

Got a call from this number and let it ring through, didn't answer. They immediately called again, not even a second later. Let it ring through again. Called immediately again, hit ignore. Called a fourth time. Hit ignore. No message left.

They called and said they were from Dell, and they wanted to help me remove virus's. They told me to hold down the windows key and the letter R at the same time. Then they asked me what was written in the box.  I told her
it it was none of her business what it said, then she hung up on me.  Caller Id said it was from Peerless, MT.  She sounded like she was from the Philippines.

Called me on my cell with the same Microsoft tech support claim. Southern Asian accent, Montana phone number 406.893.2166.  Gave name as Brian with a call back number of 229-255-3730.

This is more than the third time. Once the word "Scam" is mentioned to them, they disconnect. How can these stop?? My father (82 years old) lives in the same area code, so I never know not to answer since not sure what number I might get an emergency call from. This is extremely irritating.
