This number from Montana keeps calling when you answer nothing happens.
When you call back you get a recording stating that it is a non working number.

Its an recorded message about some government program.  They call me everyday sometimes twice a day.  It needs to stop.

Got the same call from Montana. Yes this is a spoofed number. (tricking the caller id to give a state or number that isn't true) Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is block the number. I know my home phone carrier allows up to 10 numbers blocking service,its possible that it can be accessed through the web site of your account in the calling features section. most home phones comes with the blocking feature included, in the phone book section ect... As for the (Card Services) clan, I actually called them back one day, asked a slew of questions. Since the number was working, I called my banks security team gave them the number, after finding the location of where the call was transmited from. (Internet research)
As for the DNCL, I received 1call from the Attorney Generals office (name on list for at least 8yrs) and they were actually prosecuting some scammers. Received paper work to sign in the mail. Then that's all she wrote, never heard from them again.

Credit Card offer to lower interest rates.  Numbers are disconnected. They are a SCAM.  Scam is to get the Zip Code first and then say that they need to verify that one account is in good standing with a balance of $4k or more. The then ask for the card number and / or the expiration date. Finally they ask for the card number. Most of the time they will ask for the last four numbers of your Social Security number. Then they put you on hold and check the card using the phone number on the back of the card. I wasted about 15 minutes of their time giving a card that had been replaced. Gave fake zip code and etc.   Waste their time if you like however don't give them a real working card number. KEY WORDS, Fraud, ID Theft, Scam, Steal ID, Crime, Fraud Charges.

Credit card scammers again.  God I'm tired of this MONTANA number calling.

Received calls daily from this Cell Phone MT number. Now on blocked list. When I checked my missed calls found they had called back 17 times over 3 days. Never leaves a message but from what others have posted this is the typical credit card lowering rates scam.
