- wjfarisI answered it. Recording. Said they were calling from Card Services, there was no problem with my accounts. I hung up.

Received a call from this number, this evening. Did not get to the phone in time. Answering machine picked up. Glad I was slow. Caller ID said:
NAME NOT FOUND
407-000-1919- Caller: "CALLER NOT FOUND"
- bostonianthe call came in, same deal as everyone else, lowering my rates, blah blah blah, I pressed 9 to tell them I was on a do not call list, the guy who picked up started yelling at me for wasting his time, called me a "stupid mick" and said I was a stupid pile of sh*t from Boston, then he claimed to be the owner of the company and told me to get a fuc*ing job, I laughed (it was pretty funny) and asked him what his company name was, and he hung up. too funny!
- arkdudeWell, they may have filed a law suit, blah, blah, blah, but they aren't doing enough to stop these spoof calls. I think they could stop this if they tried.
These callers are so annoying. Do they actually ever sell anything?
I hope they all get caught, shutdown and never allowed to own a cell phone or land line again. I truly believe that should be part of the penalty. I would love to be on a jury of one of these guys, they would get the maximum penalty.- Caller: Card Services
- faesdanCaller ID came up showed this number in question as number not available, name not available. I am 71 years old and I have learned if they won't identify themselves you don't want to talk to them. They either want to sell you something or get information. If you want to talk to me you better tell me who you are. Or as they say in the south I ain't gonna answer the phone.
- DBobJust pressed '9' to talk to someone about reducing my credit card rate. Actually wanted to provide them with phony info and waste their time because this is clearly a scam. (Just wanted to see how long I could hold them on the line before they got a clue and hung-up.) It rang and rang and no one would pick-up. Oh well.
- Andrew McDonaldDid not answer. Glad I didn't either as it appears to be a scam.
- RobertI did answer, and push 9, because I wanted to hassle them.
I immediately demanded "How are you connected to VISA!?" because they said "It's about your VISA card" and "Would you like 6 percent interest?" as if I was a moron and REALLY thought I could get that.
I repeated the question over and over, and they got really angry.
I reminded them, "YOU phoned ME!"
They put me on hold, tying my line up forever, and got rid of me, never, not once, admitting who they really were.
Not that I had any doubts, but obviously, crooks.
Oh, I phoned VISA, who said I must watch my account closely for "unauthorized" transactions, but they cannot do anything on their end, since nothing has happened.- Caller: unknown
- DeanWhy can't something be done? Yeah... playing with them is fun... until they get your mothers or other relatives information. Is there actually someone monitoring the page? Is anything being done? If not, WHY?
I am tired of these calls as well and you can't tell me that they can not be tracked!- Caller: unknown
- picklethey call claiming to lower interest rates down to 6 percent on you visa card. I don't have visa!!!! I asked how they got my number they said from experian the credit borough . I asked were they were from they said Florida . And then I asked what town and they hung up.

Only a punk/[***] gets tough behind a disguised number. He'd piss in his panties
and scream for his mama if he had a face-to-face with you. I say we go to the
home company in the article and kick the [***] out of the company president.- Caller: unknown

That was what the caller-ID showed. It was "Card Services" offering me a 6% rate on my credit card. This was my last chance if I wanted to lower my rate. Okay, I pressed "9" to continue. This guy says, "Hello and welcome. We would like to lower the interest rate on your BISA card. May I have your name please." I simply asked who he was looking for. After all, I received the call from them. His answer ... "Your Mother!!" Click! I only wonder how many people are giving personal information to these people without having any idea WHO they are.- Caller: NAME NOT FOUND
- mammaGot a call from this number and pressed 9 as directed, in order to get my last chance at lowering my interest rate. When the live woman came on the line she said they got my great credit information from Experion and could offer a lower rate if my rate was over 10%. Said this would work on all my store cards,Visa/Mastercard, etc. Asked how much credit card debt I have. I said, "if you have the power to lower my rate, I would think you already have that information and quite honestly I'm a bit leery of this phone call" and before I could finish the sentence the line had already gone dead. What's up with this?
- Caller: She claimed "Card Service"
- annoyed againI was also getting calls from 407-000-1515, I believe it's the same company. I have put both of these #s on my call screening to block them from calling anymore. I don't know if I can keep up with them or not though, they probably have alot of phone numbers. Attorney General needs to do something about this, I'm old enough to remember the days when having a non-published number actually meant something!
- cdenglewoodcoDon't EVER answer or callback. If the 407 callers are getting info from credit bureaus, any callback simply verifies the number is good and they try to use it for identity theft or call more. Have had several of these show up on caller id with various last 4 digits but 1919 in particular. They never leave a message....it concerns me that they probably do get the numbers from the credit bureau, who give out your SS#, name and phone to any "company". I think they may even be related to a zombie collection company, which is big business these days, buying up 1-20 yr old collection accounts for .00001 cents and by harassing the current owners of the phone number, can make a fortune, even if they only collect $.01 on the dollar. I have had much garbage and negative go on my credit report and can't get it off, because the feds, in their infinite stupidity, absolve the bureaus of any responsibility for what goes on the report. All the bureaus do when you protest, is ask the "company" doing the reporting if the info is accurate and when of course they say yes, leave the negative info on. The reporter won't talk to you, demands money and reports worse info than before. I've gotten some off my report, but it cost me more than just paying the phoney collection amount.

- TrishGot a call from this number at 8:31 PM today. As soon as I picked up the receiver I heard a recorded message from Rachel at card services offering me a 6% interest rate on my credit card, so I hung up. Dial *69 to find out who had called. No dial tone because they hadn't hung up on the other end. Made several more attempts before I was able to get a dial tone. I've been on the Do Not Call list for years, yet I still get calls like this.

- Leslie ZickertThey keep calling and I'm on the no call list. Where is the Attorney General on this one?.
- JohnMy wife pressed 9 and he yelled at her "Shut Up you hear" over and over. We have been on the do not call list as well and plan to file a complaint.
- Annoyed"There is no problem with my account but I am running out of time to get my interest rates reduced... blah, blah, blah." I am soooo incredibly tired of these annoying prerecorded scams! And how come nearly all of them are coming from Florida??
- mschwartzReceived a call from Card Services. Once this morning under 407-000-1919 and under unknown caller. The first call was a recording stating that there was something wrong with my account and to press 6. First off all I am on top of all my cards. Hung up immediatelly. Second time was from an unknown caller. Hurry to receive a lower interest rate. Blah, blah, press 9 to speak with someone. So I did! I asked for their name and number so that I could report them as this was the second call today. And that they were warned acouple of months ago to take me off their list. THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!!! Tried looking them up on the internet and can not find them.
