garbled message about final notice and lowering interest rate.  When I called back the # was not in service.

I never answer the phone from any number I dont recognize anymore.
Not worth it.

I received a call from this number (out of Florida caller ID said).  I tried to call it back and got a message that the number I call was no longer working.
The next day I receiver a call from140-748-0999 and I talked to a real person.  I ask how they got my number because I was on the do not call list.  She would not tell me anything except that the do not call list did not apply to they.  I then ask her to take me off their call list and she hung up.
I plan on notifying the FCC.

I very much dislike this type of scum.

I have received numerous calls from this caller. They always fail to leave a message.
Should they ever reach me, I will never do business with them. I am also on the "Do not call list"

Called numerous times, Caller ID says Florida call. Returned call - call message said the number has been disconnected and cannot complete phone call.

Telemarketing Scum

I just got home and had 3 messages from "Rachel of Card Member Services" (Caller ID 407-358-9999).  I've been getting these calls for months now.  However, yesterday I listened to the whole message and pushed "3" to "discontinue these calls".  Instead of stopping, they got WORSE!  So, just as I was done deleting the phone messages from them, my phone rang again and it was them again!!!  I answered and this time pushed "1" to speak with a rep.... waited about 5 minutes. Finally "Corey Jacobs" came on the line.  Said the company's name was indeed "Card Member Services", working on behalf of Visa, MasterCard and American Express (BS!).  Couldn't tell me his address as "he only has worked there 1 week" and didn't know his manager, David's, last name.  Said their phone number was 800-847-2911.  I told him they were now harassing me as I pushed option #3 yesterday.  His response was "Are we holding a gun to your head and making you answer your phone lady?"  What an A$$#@*%!  This is a scam and the scum bags are very rude, ugly people.  DON'T ANSWER THEM

Also - the other harassment calls from "Rachel at Card Member Services" came from numbers

I'm so sick of these scum bags.  This is another scam, there are tons out there and the frightening thing is they can seem so legitimate sometimes, though this one does not!  NEVER EVER give information to someone calling.  If you believe the call is legitimate, ask for a phone number and other information so you can verify it is real and then call them back before you reveal anything.  Banks and CC companies will be happy to oblige as they are well aware of these heartless scams.  They also can give you all the information you need on who they are.  Credit Card Services - ohhh pleeeease... don't know the address or my boss's name... uhhh, okaaay

I actually had someone harassing me about a doctor's bill that insurance wouldn't cover.  They had all my info as well as my doctor's info and insurance company.  They sent me on a wild goose chase, taking up valuable time I did not have and causing me great stress.  There was no reason to believe it was a fraudulent call until I finally called my insurance company to demand why they refused to pay this bill.

I have been getting these calls from a number of numbers.   I use the call block service after each call (*60 and then #01# to block the last call).

I am on the DO NOT CALL List, but they ignore that.   These things seem to be on the rise these days - I am also getting scam calls from an "energy audit company".  I like to play with them, acting like a senile old man (their target audience) and talk to them for a long time, put down the phone for 20 minutes (I tell them I am looking for my wallet) and just dragging it out so the call rate for the telemarketer sucks and they get fired.

Today, these "Card Services" people call again, this time with a new recording (they change it regularly) saying "nothing is wrong with your card" but offering rates as low as 6.5%.  Of course, I already have a Simmons First card, and that has the lowest rate in the nation - 7.15%.  So I doubt they can help me - or anyone.

I am not sure why they call.   I press "1" to speak to an operator (or "9" on one of the other calls) and it just beeps, clicks, and hangs up.

What is the scam here?  Are they trying to sell you credit cards?  Phishing?  What?  Because they always hang up.

I did get someone to answer once, and I said "What credit card company do you represent" and they hung up.

Whatever scam they are doing, they are doing it poorly.

I called AT&T and had them put a LINE LOCK on my account to prevent any Slamming of my long distance service or any Cramming of 3rd party services - if that is what their gag is.

It's my old friend Rachael again!  I was hoping she had been run over by a train.  Lower your credit card rates. Yeh, yeh. What a jerk.

Caller ID shows V07191058480024 as the caller and the number 407-358-9999. It is a recorded msg asking to lower my interest rate that is about to expire. I did not push any number to speak with a rep or to discontinue the call - I just hung up. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but it doesn't seem to be working.

After you hang up, immediately dial #57. This traces the call and if it's a scam, you are told to notify your local law agency. If you dial #57 on the same number three times in 30 days, the phone carrier contacts the caller and tells them to stop calling your number.  I have used this and I know that it really works.

Caller ID "name" showed up as "VO72211155500003" - no idea what that means.
They didn't leave a message.

I am getting at least 4 to 5 of these types of calls every single day.  It is to the point of feeling total harrassment.  They use different phone numbers every time.  I have actually considered changing my phone number.  I have stopped answering these calls -- just let them ring until they hang up, but it's very annoying.
They don't just call my home phone either, they actually are now sending text messages to my cell phone.  Enough is enough.  I had to put a block on my cell phone for data texts because when I received my recent cell phone bill, I had $20 in charges caused by these types of calls.  This is just wrong, wrong, wrong.

Rachael calls every day from a different number.  please stop now

I have been receiving an increasing number of calls of this nature from various numbers.  Same gimic "press 1 to lower your interest rates" however when you try to speak with these people they hang up and the calls keep coming.  I have reported numerous numbers to the Do Not Call Complaint Registry.  I don't even have credit card #'s.

This number calls everyday (we are on "Do Not Call" list) and leaves an automated message about lowering our interest rate. It gave me an option "press #3 if you wish to be removed". I selected #3 and nothing happened so I decided to call their number from my caller ID of 407-358-9999 and the operator announced "this is not a working number".  My caller ID only identifies the number as "Florida".

I've been getting calls from "Rachel" for probably a year now, but today is the 1st time I've looked up the # on the internet and my caller ID said it was from Florida.  I know that is not where the other calls have come from, it's usually a different # every time she calls.  One number was even in my area code with the exchange prefix for my town!  Even if I blocked this #, she'd just call from another one.  There should be some way to stop this since being on the "Do not call" registry isn't working!
