The caller id says Level 3 Communication, LLC.  This chump keeps calling me at work threatening me with a lawsuit for some company I've never heard of.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.  They won't give me their company's name, address or any other info.  I've contacted Level 3 about their customer's abuse.

this number called me about my husband saying that there is a lawsuit against him its some indian guy and he had me talk to the legal lady that works at the court house, she was indian also and the phone kept breaking up, they wouldnt tell me anything about where they were or anything, im kinda worried cuz i dont want a lawsuit against him.... what should i do and are these people for real?

this number called me and i dont pick up unless i know the number so it went to voice mail and i played it and the guy had a thick indian accent saying that I or my attorney should call them for my own good and have mercy on my soul if i dont. I called him back to see what this was about and i guess i have a lawsuit against me by a payday loan company. He didnt know any of my info just my name, cell phone, and the last four numbers of my social security number. Does anyone know how to get them to stop, without having to block your number from them?

Hey a friend of mine is going thru the same thing, Says the person that called him was someone named Jake Lewis. Said that he owed them $650.32 and if he didn't start paying them soon he'll be summoned to court, filed bankruptcy, ssn and thrown in jail for bail up to $8000. I didn't know this was a scam and neither did he until now because he started paying them back and was afraid of going to jail even though he didn't owe them anything. Should I tell him to stop with the payments?

i to have been called by these indian cant understand a word they say they say their are filing papers in court for money i borrowered with some kind of cash advance which  i didnt some one should stop  these people when i demand them fax me paperwork they wouldnt and i tryed giving them my lawyers name and address they back off i dont want anymore call from these people on my home phone or cell phone how do they get this information they should be turned in because i am not sending these people any money scam

i to have the same problem someone should stop these people i dont know how they get your information but very troubleing i am blocking their phone number this is a scam dont feel bad your not the only one

It's already been done, had a talk to a co-worker of mine and he said the same thing. But for him, they actually did give him money. Even though he paid them back the money he owed them, they still tried to take more money out. So he closed his account and talked to his lawyer about them and haven't heard from them since.

The same man called me stating the SAME EXACT THING. I got nervous but after some research, I found out that this is a SCAM. Don't pay them anything. If he calls again, give him the name and number of your attorney (just find one in the phone book) and he'll back off. Better yet, ask him to fax you some information on the case or his "law firm" and wait for his response.
