Quick hang up call on my cell phone.  I called back on my landline and got a recording thanking me for calling back because they have a $100 gift card for filling out a website information form (I never did this and if I did, I would not give out my cell phone#) and to press 1 to get the $100 or press 2 to be placed on their Do Not Call list.  No company name was ever mentioned.

I did neither.  In my area (Central Florida) there have been several local news reports of the quick hang up calls and what happens when you call back.  Somehow or another just calling back from the same number might authorize your carrier to bill you for foreign placed calls. Regardless, we all know you don't get $100 for nothing so I would not advise calling back this or any other quick hang-up call.
