Missed call on my residence line. Shows only as 'long distance" at 11:15 a.m. today. No message.

Called my cell phone (Canadian location) with some sort of holiday offer.

Phoned my Toronto home phone July 1st. Left no message

Called me today and did not leave a message but could hear background sounds (other conversations) but did not say anything.  I got this call today (July 2,2010)

Left a message on our vonage line, no sound.  Not sure what the deal is.

It was an automated machine with two options (8 and 9 i believe) offer for a holiday or be removed from calling list

Called my Toronto home phone today at 9:30 a.m. No message.

Called me today at 10:46 am Eastern. I did not pick up. It went to voice mail, but no message was left. I tried to call back, but received busy signal.

Being in Canada and registered with the Do Not Call list, I don't think I am protected from unwanted spam calls from the US.

Forgot to add that I think this area code (407) is for Florida. Perhaps they have some great deals on swamp land? Darn, and I missed their call!

Called my partner - "claim your free cruise". Duly blocked!

We are in the UK - our equivalent of "Do Not Call" only protects us from European calls.

Do tell us how to get "European" calls stopped.        UK, yes, perhaps.     European??

I 'm getting calls  from this # and I block it. Then I'm fairly sure a new # calling me is this same org./person.

The rules pertaining to checking that a number is not on TPS applies to any company based in the European Union - it's an article of European law.
