They called me twice in the last two days, I didn't pick up either time, they didn't leave a voice message

I received a phone call from this number and a message for a person who is not me.  I returned the call and the person claimed to be calling from Florida Hospital on a resume. I told her this was not a number where that person could be reached and I called back about 5 minutes later attempting to get more information. There was something very odd about the lack of information about Florida Hospital that the person had for working there and then she said HR must have mixed up numbers when she discovered that I work at Florida Hospital. I don't trust this one bit.

This is indeed an outgoing number from Florida Hospital. It is legit. HR gets hundreds of applications per week and they call all references. The chances that they will mis-dial or else be given a bad number is extremely high. They also staff many positions with temps, who may sound 'fishy' because they often don't know what they are doing. Plus anyone can use their phones to make outbound personal calls.

Not their HR number but they are the one who call you after you applied for a job and you get hired. They tell you what you need to bring on your first day at work.
